"The next evening, just before leaving work, Qian Fei received a call from Li Yifei.
He told her over the phone, “Come down quickly, your young master has made time in his busy schedule to pick you up!”
Qian Fei packed up her things and took the elevator down with a few colleagues. In the same elevator were those women from other departments who loved to gossip in the bathroom.
As they walked out of the building, the women behind Qian Fei kept making surprised noises like “Oh!” “Ah!” and “Eh?”. Qian Fei looked ahead to see what they were reacting to and saw Li Yifei leaning against his Cadillac across the street, looking in their direction.
He wore sunglasses, dressed in all black, leaning against his car with his long legs crossed, holding a large bouquet of roses. In full view of everyone, he looked devastatingly handsome.
Seeing her, he took off his sunglasses and smiled at her from his spot by the car.
Qian Fei’s ears burned.
Amid the stares and exclamations of those around her, a mix of emotions washed over her – embarrassment, shyness, and an indescribable sense of happiness. She raised her hand slightly awkwardly to tuck her hair behind her ear.
Across the street, Li Yifei pushed off from his car and stood up straight. He casually hung his sunglasses in front of him, held the flowers, and strode across the street with long steps.
Qian Fei’s heart pounded as she watched him, thinking how flashy and attention-grabbing he was being.
She wondered, how could actions that would seem ostentatious, showy, and shameless to others look so pleasing to him.
He walked straight up to her and stopped, thrusting the bouquet of almost blindingly red roses into her arms. In front of everyone, he cupped her face and kissed her lips swiftly and decisively.
Qian Fei felt like she was about to float away.
She heard various exclamations behind her.
She used to hate it when people flaunted their relationships, but at this moment, she found it incredibly satisfying."

i prefer novel QF and drama LYF.
drama QF has her good moments but she seems indifferent towards LYF — especially in those last 10 or so episodes. and then i absolutely detest novel LYF in the beginning of the story because of how misogynistic he was.
maybe it's just me, but the character developments for shi yu and jin felt so sudden. it's like they woke up one day and decided they should become a saint lol
there's other negative criticisms i have regarding this show yet there were also many things i enjoyed. regardless, i am happy this drama was able to see the light so we could witness the great chemistry between jianci and churan. i'm going to miss our feifei couple's bickering moments. <3
y'all complaining about juncheng, meanwhile i've been skipping his scenes since day one 🤣 i don't even know what's up with him besides the fact that he's a stalker. the side couples are just not interesting to me. churan and jianci are hardcore carrying this show
Those dropping this show saying it is boring are just into fast paced dramas with no substantial characters. If…
objectively, it's not a bad show.
it just feels like eating sugar, and i don't know about you guys but i don't like to eat plain sugar. i like eating sugary foods like brownies, ice cream, and donuts, but not sugar itself.
What I find fascinating is how contradictory Tan Jianci’s character is compared to the one he portrayed in his…
i agree!
it's funny when i think about how LMLMV was super sweet in every aspect that it was like the "expectations" in romance dramas, while LHF is the "reality." take that bus scene for example. hahaha
Was he not favored by drama production??He is such a versatile actor why he doesn't have many dramasDue to personal…
probably the biggest reason why is because he's also a singer/dancer, so he has to make time for music and performances too.
then, i believe jianci is someone who likes to choose his scripts carefully and try out a variety of characters and genres. he won't just accept any script.
