IMO, becoz father demanded his wife's family to pay for hosting the ceremony in his house, but not just expenses for hosting, also the gifts he is supposed to give everyone... He was never interested about his daughter at all... only that family just wanted money.... She couldn't bear the thought of her father looting her grandmother, when he is the one who never allowed her to step inside...his house. Those gifts are for her father to give away....or show off.. or sell later ....

Actually even I was convinced its his voice only.. just a low note... Earlier the cast list was incomplete so I was looking for it in Dramawiki and came across every actors and their voice actors names are given there.... Usually Dramawiki has more accurate info..

EP19, shining moment was Gala Zhang slaying Mrs. Gu's attempt to escape from paying back the loan.... thoroughly enjoyed... these two brother and sister are really good.. I know they are cousins.. I was happy he didn't grow feelings for her, even though he offered to marry her.. if no one is willing... lol!! he is always caring and there to protect her.....
I think Ye Xin is going to have melt down when he hear CYY and CJZ are together....... I cannot imagine the intensity of his reactions.... when it happens... he might kill someone....!! But its going to be something we have not seen any SML doing....!!
