I feel out of the three Gu ladies.. she might end up having the best marriage...!

The point is in EP 33 CXQ telling CYY, that she was the one chased him... and she loved him first... and how good she is at manipulating peoples heart... which will put doubts in anyone's heart. CYY realises CXQ is obsessed with his wife...
Hope they will slowly get out of this...

Crazy eyes is it........ after he saw them together.. i get the feeling everytime they are together... this guys is in some corner... creepy fellow..

I think insecurity is there for her also.. since she see all her family with wives and concubines.. so she also fears eventually he might also have...

They are so good together... its like the calm before the storm....!

Last I saw him was in Sword and Brocade.. the little boy everyone tried to poison... I think he will go a long way.. all the best to him...!

BTW.. even Lian that crazy female.... acting was so great.. there is a scene of her upset with her new maid.. so she keeps pinching her.. I was like.. WTF... is she doing.. rofl!! but all those.. acting makes.. very realistic.. showing how spoiled she is..! like GJZ asked...her, are you acting dumb or really dumb??

I absolutely loved how artistically the coming-of-age ceremony was portrayed — the children singing together made the scene feel so warm, emotional, and alive. The wedding scenes were equally beautiful, with family and friends gathering together in such a heartfelt way that every moment felt grand yet intimate.

The performances were outstanding across the board. The FL’s character especially stood out to me — I loved how openly and joyfully she expressed her affection through hugs and warmth, but at the same time, she was refreshingly straightforward, same way even when she was upset or displeased. It made her feel strong, genuine, and very relatable.

Ci Sha completely stole the screen whenever he appeared. His performance was powerful and charismatic, especially during the action scenes, but what made him even more memorable was the way he portrayed a deeply loving and devoted husband. The balance of strength and tenderness in his character was seriously so good. I feel initially he was serious, formal and dignified which made him look older and mature... and after GJZ said ok.. he became more playful and lighthearted and younger looking...

I wish there is a better ending for YX... esp since there is a firebrand girl loving him.. and emperor has plans to give him the title back..!

The little emperor needs special mention.. he is acting with veteran actors... and seriously doing such a good job..

I can understand Ye Xian's reactions, even GJZ and his sister anticipated... the reason being she is the only one person he got close to and was always running behind her like kid, for GJZ he helped her with his mother sickness times... give respect at the funeral breaking all the norms.. those were very important moments.. so she goes out of her way to help... also she have seen him being sick.. But if he were to tell her any time.. he has feelings... she would have stopped it at the same time.

But what I cannot understand is what is that other "airhead" thinking.. if you add up all the time they spent talking to each other can mount up to 1 hour max... it all started bcoz ML sent him with wine just to divert her mind, and with the fact that she thought he is the one who saved her....from drowning. I think he is just like his father.. might end up being a traitor... I am just watching.. ep 27.

Is he taking the same role.....
He back stabbed his best friend in Fated Hearts... remember.. Murong Yao. Thats why he gave me the creeps... always lurking around acting too humble ...

I believe.. bcoz you said.. so strongly.. I also thought let me wait for more episode releases... yes me too stopped at ep 24.

I started Zhao Zhan adventures... its looking good, so i thought i dont want to wait for episode release like this, its tormenting so went and started rewatching... hopefully i will catch up by the time all episodes are released.. Once its over. I will start ZZA..

you know I totally depend on subtitles.. so I can miss things.. Rewatching makes me understand better... I rewatch only if its really good..

I read a comment on this reel.. Apparently, In Chinese culture when a marriage sedan is on the route it must not turn back or else the marriage will fail, it seems like ye xian let them through as he wishes the best for jinzhao

I really such dialogue deliveries... here you need to handle YX properly otherwise.. he is a volcano waiting to irrupt...lol! He said seriously, convincingly but not yelling at him, YX knows CYY respected him father.. even the little crown prince told him... !

I have emphasized on their conversation in EP17 @ 24 something, really changed SML to start takin things more seriously about his family and title.. Eventhough it was just few lines ML says to Ye Xian.. it was really great..!
ML is mature and can handle people... esp complicated ones like YX

I read somewhere, the first scene Winwin shot for this drama, was the one him confronting GJC... what an amazing job he did.
You know dramas are not shot in a sequence... but depends of locations.. etc..

You know the saying... if wishes were horses.... beggars would be riding now.... lollll!!
But I wish more dramas show such understanding couple... not the girl goes running and screaming and fighting if things doesnt go her way..... lol!
I resisting not watching today and tomorrow....! bcoz its the very intense and only one episode....
I dont want to watch Ye Xian breaking down... he knows with his status and also heart condition he cannot marry.. her. But she is one person.. whom he really cared about... unfortunately.. the universe is against him......

Exactly...! All actors done such brilliant job to melt our heart and look forward for every episode release..
