You are totally wrong. First: the mystery melodrama genre is very adult and not everyone understands it, it does…
I won't call you "wrong" for liking this show but I totally disagree, and I say this as a grown up adult person. I found the story silly, melodramatic, and far fetched. Is there a basis in realistic themes, I guess, but that doesn't mean the execution was at all believable. No Oedipus links or Psychological diagnosis theories make the acting any less cartoony. Acting is actually something I know A LOT about so there was no need to try to educate me there. The acting here would be more a cubic zirconia in my educated opinion, so to each their own. Thrillers are also one of my favorite genres and this one was a disappointment. The theme of abuse was heavy handed, and the references to sleeping with the enemy were OD.
So I guess you like this kind of melodramatic novela kind of thing, but I have a feeling I'm not alone is stating confidently that this drama was EXTREMELY meh! Your condescending response was way off in it's assumptions about me as well. Next time try to stick to the topic of the show instead of mischaracterizing a person you literally know nothing about. You can sing this dramas praises if you want, we don't all enjoy the same shows, but your approach to me I can say IS totally wrong.
At first, I was amused by the ridiculous acting and craziness in this drama, but it's sooooo bad. I see a drop in my immediate future. Maybe I will just ask for spoilers later!
One thing that really bothers me still, even after finishing this drama, is that there is no way that her sister being hit in the head with a purse and walking into a pool to grab money, while super drunk, translates to murder. It would have made more sense if they played up the fact that it was an accident that should not have been covered up instead of pretending that purse had enough power to knock her unconscious. It's a buckle, not a brick!
I think the age difference only bothers people because she looks younger than she is and innocent. That's perfect for her character since it contrasts with how violent and deadly she can be. I'm not a huge fan of large age gaps in general, but so far I think this one works.
Her stubbornness is really getting annoying. The story is interesting, but her wanting to stick to writing even though it seems to be killing people around her makes it hard for me to feel bad for her.
This drama has been chill, there were not that many infuriating moments or characters like in most dramas, but…
I initially didn't like that Mi So's family seemed to use her and depend on her, but as I watched it became clearer that Mi So was a control freak. This is why she never seemed too much like a victim to me. I think that's the interesting thing about her trying to find herself. She basically found that she is who she'd been all along. All she needed was to find balance to that.
As for the mom, I think it makes sense for her to react that way, not that I liked her response either. She was just extra sensitive about their dynamic knowing that she had to lie all those years for her children's sanity. I think it gave his brother a good moment to step forward and take responsibility.
How about you judge the drama after actually finishing the first ep or so, instead of listing a chaebol scenario,…
What I love about this drama is on the surface it seems like a narcissist and a poor girl but that is actually not at all how this scenario plays out. I'm actually watching the first episode again, after knowing how the story unfolds, and it just goes to show how deceptive first impressions can be... even kim mi so's.
No, he doesn't stop being a narcissist, and no she isn't secretly rich, but everything you guessed about their romance is waaaaaaay off.
This drama does not have Good story line at all..(Usual one ) yeah at some point they are funny but romance between…
I really like "Are you human too" too, but I actually like this one more. I think their romantic matching is pretty much perfect, and the story is well done. Being cheesy is not a deal breaker for me... I mean, in the other one a woman is in love with a robot, and to me that definitely qualifies as cheesy.
