this wasn't even a slow burn romance. he liked her and she showed no interest back until the last few episodes, there was no development to her liking him back when she was still thinking about other love interests literally 2 episodes before
just binged the 6 episodes...not a huge fan of the ml but wow the main couple actually suit each other so much !! they're such an adorable couple in their younger years, and i enjoy that there wasn't a dramatic hatred period when they meet again as adults.
however, the fl can benefit from some therapy. i feel for her so much, but she genuinely needs to stop suppressing the trauma. poor girl :( she was so young when everything happened
was pretty interesting in the first half, went downhill in the second half. the open ending wasn't the issue for me, it was the dramas poor attempt and being realistic that it became extremely unenjoyable. the fl no longer has a job or income, and we have no idea how girly is even affording rent lol. the male lead we assume she ends up with is super passive and doesn't really pursue her, which was somewhat realistic i guess but for the last few episodes being about their relationship period, it was bit off-putting.
we can see the fl developing in the first few episodes and her growth stops in the second half and just becomes a turbulence of situationships. the one thing i quite enjoyed was the ex-boyfriend not being a stereotypical bad dude, he actually had some genuine growth and became more likeable towards the end.
i did enjoy it somewhat, but i definitely watched it with the idea that this might be more empowering, or we would purely watch the journey of her growth. the second half was basically kind of nothingness.
When did they get together?Any breakup or love triangle?Happy ending?
they're never officially 'together' per say, they both know that they like each other and they're romantic. no break up, there's a love triangle for about 2 episodes only lol it's cut pretty short, and a lot of people are iffy about the ending but its not a sad ending at all, good closure. they meet again in present time and also love each other there <3
