For anyone who has read the novel, I saw a video of ML falling off a cliff. Is this in the novel and what exactly was happening?

Also, any spoilers on major plot points like marriage? death? injury?

Looking from the previews he gets stabbed. Again. He has basically been stabbed and near death at the end of almost every drama he is in. I find it boring. Why not the female lead for once in his dramas? Give the actor something new to work with...

Haven't started yet but was going to. What makes it seem like so? How will the ending probably be?

This is like the third or fourth drama of his where he is badly Injured in the end. Is it a stipulation in his contract? I could even predict he was going to be near death at the end.

Did not like this. Found the spanking disgusting. Can’t imagine the embarrassment of the actress. Typical storyline and ending. Hate the screenwriter’s other works. Will be avoiding.

Seems from the trailer if it wasn't kidnapping she was at least taken hostage and tied up (at least not suspended in mid-air which I've seen in quite a few dramas). I took a glimpse at the novel and it seems he does get injured?

Hi, I guess I mean being kidnapped or taken hostage in some way. There are a lot of dramas, and in particular web dramas, that have this. Off the top of my head that has at least one or the other in 2024 is deep love love again (would not recommend), the expect love, broken the heart, and the double (ML isn't the one to save her). I am sure there are many others as well. Richard Li I think has like 3 dramas where this is the case but not sure if they are this year).

Trailer seems interesting but I am honestly sick of seeing FLs being kidnapped and needing rescuing from ML. This is the hundredth drama this year I am seeing this. Guess he also gets injured in the process knowing this trope.

Like the concept of the drama, but wish they went a different route where he comes to terms with the fact he can’t change things in the past and decides to live in the present. I feel the concept of acceptance would have been great in this drama. I unfortunately don’t like the approach they took. This includes being able to interact with FL in the past, change things, and possibly saving FL at the cost of his own life (which I see in many dramas where the ML is “supernatural” in some way). I hope he doesn’t die in the end, as I want him to actually embrace the present including being a father for his daughter.

Just to clarify, the solution to the problem was going far back in time and avoiding ML and the killer? Or reseting enough times?

What else has he died in?

Do you know if any other major things happen like one getting injured or break ups in the 2nd life?

I appreciate your perspective on the characters and their actions. It’s evident we have different interpretations.

I agree he’ll never do that and I agree with your sentiments, just a thought.

I almost think if he would just stay still and not be so willing to sacrifice and die for her she may find a way out on her own and he wouldn’t have to die in the future. But that’s not how male heroics go.

What you said can be written in reverse and still be applicable. Why should his desire to sacrifice and protect be automatically greater than hers? Or more so, why should he always be successful in saving her but she always unsuccessful? Both characters have their own strengths and motivations. Just as he's capable of sacrificing for her, she's equally capable of doing the same. I hope the writer does not diminish her potential for heroism and shows the FL’s capability of saving him just as he has saved her.

Totally respect that but I honestly really hope it doesn’t end up with him dead and her not changing anything. He can save her a million times but she can’t save him once? Why should she accept she can’t save him when he wouldn’t accept not being able to save her? Why should the ML always be self sacrificing but not the FL?

Absolutely loving the drama! However, I can't help but notice a recurring pattern where the male lead takes on the role of the primary rescuer, while the female lead, despite trying to rescue him, often finds herself in vulnerable situations (which, given the circumstances, I do understand). It would be empowering to see her actually save the male lead, even if it costs her. Seen a few dramas recently with the male lead always saving and female lead helpless. Hoping for a refreshing change.

This drama offers a refreshing twist, with the female lead as the supernatural entity, showcasing her strength without overshadowing her character with repetitive rescues by the male lead. In contrast to the prevalent trope of female characters constantly in need of saving (side eyeing very popular dramas), this series shines by portraying a strong female lead who stands on her own.

I would be happy to see this. Or at least I would much prefer this over him getting injured or dying again.
