I feel like every k-drama I’m watching this year the ML gets stabbed, almost dies, or dies. Wish they switch it up.

Pretty good drama overall, although I wish they hadn't included the whole cliché of the FL getting kidnapped and the ML getting injured while saving her, which I've seen way too many times in Korean dramas. It would have been nice if she could have managed to get out of it herself or something I can't even remember the last time seeing — a gender reversal of this trope.

Does anyone know if actors of ML and FL dub themselves?

The ML has gotten injured/close to death way too many times by now it's redundant. They could shake things up and have it be FL like that. If he dies in the end it may lose the impact.

I guess what I really mean is they couldn't find a way to create drama or tension without the ML gravely injured or dying.... Its every other drama where this happens. It just seems they are favoring stabbing lately over truck of doom

What's with all the stabbing? I can think of at least 2 other dramas within the past 2 months that had the ML get stabbed. I wish screenwriters were a bit more creative than this.

They really like having this actor get injured all the time with this and Maid's Revenge. They couldn't shake it up and have her be the one almost dead at the end?

Kind of wish she sacrificed herself in the end just because I feel DYX could have pulled off the emotions and crying better. We saw how great he can pull it off in the 2nd lifetime and I think it was the 5th lifetime. In fact, I wish her sacrifice was done similarly to his - with more dialogue between them.

I'm open to exploring different types of dramas, and I'll take your recommendation for 'Road Home' into account as well. Each drama has its unique appeal, and I'm willing to give various series a try to find what suits me best. I just finished Who Rules the World and very much like it and the strong female characters in it.

The only other drama I can think where the same person falls multiple times is romance of a twin flower. Even if there are more, by the second time it is excessive even if it is a common thing.

I'm on episode 4 and I am unsure if I should continue. Sang Zhi acts incredibly infantile for her age and it is pretty frustrating. Does it get better?

So he ends up falling off a cliff twice, is that right? It seems like it from spoilers. That seems excessive.
