I dislike the whole life-exchange spell thing and seeing how he is going to actually die in just a few episodes it seems to me a little redundant. I feel like the plot line is more convoluted and messy with all this added stuff. I wish I never read the novel because its really making it hard for me to like this with all the changes.

Thanks for letting me know. It seems they are adding a lot that didn't happen in the novel. I just hope they put these two parts from the novel in the show.

Does anyone know if these two parts from the book happened in the show? From what I remember, one is right after Tian Yao got his dragon heart, Yan Hui is buried in rubble. And the other is when Su Ying lied to Tian Yao and said Yan Hui is dead

I wish they just kept the storyline from the novel

I think they followed the novel a little with that as she was injured after falling off the cliff

ML getting stabbed/hurt way too many times it's getting redundant and FL was a bit too useless.

Honestly would have preferred her to be dead to have something different.

Kind of wish the female lead was the grim reaper and the male lead was the human with mysterious powers. That would be more interesting to me.

If I get paid every time the male lead gets injured saving the female lead in Korean dramas I'd be rich. I wish they would come up with something more original. Even if Hae Yi got stabbed it would have been more shocking.

That was a pretty bad ending. Last three episodes of pure stabbing, shooting, crying helplessness. Just really not good. And the villain waking up after being shot is just ridiculous.

Looks like from the preview he is getting shot again after getting stabbed a million times. Who is the writer of this drama? Are they into male leads being continuously injured? It would be nice for a change if the female lead rescues or sacrifices for the male lead instead.

Why does he get injured so much? It's way too redundant. If they want so much stabbing then do it to one of the other leads at least.

Seems interesting but would have liked to see the roles switched, with the FL as the lawyer who happens to get involved in a murder case and the ML as the nurse who attempts to clear the spouse's name.

I'm a bit confused as to why he disappears? I thought he would turn evil once his time was up.

I feel this drama would have been much more powerful with Dong Kyung learning to accept her illness and learning to love herself than the common trope of male sacrifice.

Totally agree, especially the last episode. We have male lead disappearing, girl is sad and mourns, then male lead returns. And I can think of many other dramas like this. Plus the truck of doom. I’m a little disappointed.

I really like this drama, but the whole threat of him disappearing feels a bit too cliché and unnecessary. I feel I've seen one too many dramas have this.
