The reference between salt and rice is rice is the staple diet whereas salt is consumed in pinches but if salt consumed in pinches is consumed more than rice it means that person has more experience and wisdom usually referring to older people having more life experiences than a younger people. Not really favoured. He didn’t amount to much. The wife and children are innocent so ML said he will take care of them. ML didn’t tell his mother that 4th bro murdered 5th bro or than he was the mastermind behind FL’s kidnapping . Whose aggression? MIL? Before marriage have to behave herself then once the FL ‘enters the door’ into the family then she doesn’t need to conceal her real colours.

Alysha Johnson .This is Madam Mu. Her son is interested in Lan jie but she doesn’t like him. She refused his proposal because she complained about his looks, That was 3 years ago but the family is still eager for a marriage between the two but in the carriage FL did mentioned that will not be possible.
