Watching this after finishing A Date with the Future, and the cast also reminding me of their past dramas, looks like it's the trend these days with firefighter, doctor, & disaster rescue themes. Like Wang Chu Ran who plays the FL here also plays the exact same kind of doctor role in Have a Crush on You. Yang yang however, I still think his role in You Are My Glory is the best.
I just finished Hidden love... Hoping to start this one to move on..How is it?Is yang yang again playing the flawless…
Hidden Love is officially my fave romance of all time XD I don't think I can ever move on from that. Lol! I am, though, finding this one to be interesting enough that I look forward to it every day. It's just that, one: 40 eps kind of bothers me, two: So far the story's rather depressing from the start.
I've been thinking about why the actor who plays Situ Hong looks so familiar to me. It just hit me that his overall look/expression reminds me of the Korean actress Lee Chung Ah. I've just finished the Kdrama Celebrity and she's one of the main characters there. They look so similar with the sort of hazy eyes , not very expressive face, and small mouth :D
OK, what?? So what is wrong with the ML character ? I never had any problem with him before, but in last ep he passes out, was taken to the hospital where the FL cares for him. Then when he wakes up not even a word of thank you, he rushes out to take care of his shit. Then when his thing is done he's so pumped up he's wondering what to do next. I mean, seriously, you didn't even think about FL who cared for you? Shouldn't he be thinking about who paid the hospital and ambulance bills and how he just left the FL to wrap things up there? I can understand if they're family or smth, but like they're still "acquaintances" at this point. Where are your manners, dude?
The sound on this is really good! I feel like I'm watching a movie in the theater. Also, I'm pleased to see a whole lot of cast I recognize from dramas airing currently and recently.
The FL's former boss character is a total walking red flag since day 1 of his appearance. He's alarming to watch and definitely spells danger in the future. Anyway I just saw the # of eps and groaned. Why oh why does it have to be 40 ? XD
Kkkkk.. I'm only at 1st ep when ML had to change into period look. He has short hair but suddenly he has a topknot already. LOLz! XD Unless wigs for guys are common in that era?
I like how the FL is actually good at fighting and the one who protects the ML instead of the other way around :D
Picture and production quality is good too, btw. I rather expected the typical low quality short series kind, but not so. So it's quite pleasant to the eyes as well.
Well... okay. For me everything became pretty obvious from the moment the scene shows Hye In playing Hae In's hidden camera video. What happens next up to the ending was predictable. Despite how they ended things, I think you can guess who the culprit is if it is among the current characters, unless they have S2 and introduce new characters then. I was hesitant with how things started, but I quite like how the relationship between the 2 FL changes toward the end. Overall an okay watch.
If cdramas stick to the usual tricks, I'll be keeping my personal record of being able to spot who the hidden evil perpetrator is wayy early. Lolz! 😂 It's unfortunate in this one the mastermind is like a childish evil brat throwing a temper tantrum though. 😆 I can't get that scene of his out of my mind- when all he could do on stage was point angrily around at everyone after being found out. 🤣 Very anticlimactically funny.
