ohmygosh, I'm cringing like crazy at their hand holding in ep.9. I know they aren't blood related, but the brother sister status still makes this part unbearable to watch for me :D
At first look this genre isn't what I would normally be interested in watching, but somehow when I start I always find I love it :D I loved this slice of life story- each character have their own very relatable problems, and what I find are lovable quirks. Although I'm not a fan either of the open ending. For some reason these days a lot of other recently completed dramas I've watched have open endings.
I watched it RAW, and I don't fully understand Korean, but from what little I understand after watching the 12th ep I'm still expecting there to be more eps. Is it just going to be open-ended like this or will there be a S2? I feel like I've been left hanging here, :D
I think it started in ep 14 and now 15. There were a few times yoon si yoon's scenes suddenly goes back and forth between him with long hair and short hair. Not sure if that escaped the post editing, or they just had to shoot it that way and nothing can be done about it. Anyway, those scenes were a little confusing when I saw them.
Yeah, I agree. I’ve no idea why C-dramas like to do this ethereal inconclusive endings instead of a normal realistic…
Totally. I personally don't like open endings. I mean, I spend my time watching something because I want to know what happens in the end. So when they give this, I'm like, WHYY? I don't want to use my brain to figure out the ending for myself. Just tell me the real ending, come on... XD
For me this started out irritating for the first 4 ish eps that I wasn't sure I wanted to continue watching. It fortunately got better, but I think only for half of the entire series. Then everything just went downhill from there. It's like the story didn't even know where it wants to go and you end up getting confused with the multiple story lines being strung along.
I watched 4eps. Not sure if it's because I'm lacking sympathy towards the FL, or if the characters are just taken to the extremes, or maybe that's how real people could behave when put in her position, but I find her to be a total b****, pardon me for saying so, haha. I'm watching the whole thing and I'm like, if I was the ML being treated that way by the FL, I'd just not make any effort. He's way too nice. Or maybe I'm just mean, haha.
Gosh this is the first time I'm watching something that actually makes me feel very very angry for the first 1/2 of the movie, that i just had to stop watching and vent here XD All those perverted scums around her are just so real. I don't know if it's because I relate so much to this movie, having experienced some of these harassment myself I know how traumatic it can be. Personally I still don't know what to do if these things happen again, and it feels very suffocating. The movie did finish off on a triumphant and hopeful note, and that subsided my anger, but I really think there should be more awareness of this, and clear ways to protect women from these types of crimes that are really happening more commonly than you think.
I love this drama! Btw I was watching and when I saw Alice Ke who plays Toem, I thought she looked very familiar. Then I happened to be watching the Japanese drama Avalanche, and realized why. There's a Japanese actress in the drama named Hotta Akane, and both she and Alice Ke looks so much alike I thought they were the same person :D
