When I saw the very first poster and trailer a long time ago I was expecting something a bit serious & heavy and was really looking forward to watch this. When I actually got to watch it, it was the total opposite of what I thought it would be. Apparently the trailers that came out afterwards were more true to the actual drama. Well, I was a bit disappointed XD but so far it's a lighthearted show, nice to watch.
I think I've only watched a few of his recent movies and dramas. However, in my head, every time he's in a historical drama or movie, I'm always expecting him to play the Japanese role or something to do with that :D I wonder if it's because Mr. Sunshine left a strong impression on me :D
WOW. I loved this movie. It's one of the few Chinese movies that I love. I've also watch the Korean drama Move to Heaven and it is similar in that both deals with funeral matters, and both really good tear-jerkers too. Anyway, it's a 10 out of 10 for me, I really recommend this to eveyone.
I wonder why for most chinese gangster type character they insist on giving the guy awful long hair bangs/ extension- i don't know what you call them when the fake hair is just around the front part of the head? Like for the character Zhao Peng Xiang here. I mean why the trouble when they're just going to look weirdly unnatural? Instead of looking menacing it makes them look laughable, at least in my eyes . XD
Good action movie, as expected of JH. Was wondering about the title "A Girl Who Deserves To Die" , but after 10 minutes in made me think the brat really does deserve at least a slap XD. Story wise is so so, more of an action movie than anything. JH holding a beverage for almost the whole movie made me wonder if all that fluid didn't make him go to the loo often bts XD
So the cafe owner is Chen Yu's GF? XD I'm watching ep 8 and he introduced her to WZF as his GF, and I'm like, she is? I must have missed a lot of things while watching the previous 7 eps, why am I only aware of this now? LOL!
I like watching C-dramas, but most times I find them to be hilarious in their irrationality. In a way that makes it quite entertaining :D So I'm on ep 2 at about a third of the way in. Then came that car explosion scene where they were like, "put the fire out!" And then in no time, all of a sudden all the policemen just happen to have an extinguisher on hand each. LOL! A car exploded and here I was laughing at the whole thing.
1st ep was so so, but then came 2nd ep and boy was it jam-packed! My fave part was the last third of the ep when things started to get comedic with LJS. It was hillarious! Anyone notice the reference made to Yoon Ah's 2019 movie "Exit" at around min 49:53 where she meets Yoo Soo Bin who was also in the movie? No wonder I thought Yoon Ah's character was so similar to the one she played in the movie! :D
Firstly, why is it called Big Mouth when the character is called Big Mouse? Is there a correlation? Secondly, I'm 11 minutes into the 1st ep and all I can think of was how weirdly they came up with the reason for his accident. That scene where the waitress just out of the blue gave him a takeaway Americano from under the cart in what supposed to be an upscale restaurant when he leaves, and then he just accepts it like that. That just feels abnormal in many ways to me. Couldn't there have been a simpler and more believable way to cause his accident? :D Anyway,,
Had high hopes because the actors were great. Unfortunately it was interesting only for maybe a third of the episodes at the beginning, then I got bored with the story and lost interest, even though I kept watching till the final. Maybe this kind of story should only be kept down to 6-8 episodes, ended up being too long-winded for me.
Umm,, just finished the 12th ep.... and.. that's it?! :D I mean, it's very unclear if its supposed to be the final. Feels like there will be more eps after 12.
From the 8th ep I'm guessing MuDeok is the lost daughter of the Jin family which have also somehow merged with the Ice Stone. Which makes me hopeful that at least for part 2 Jung So Min will still appear :D Wdyt?
I saw the teaser for next ep at the end of ep 9. Aren't all cop cars designed so that they can't be opened from the inside? But the kid just opened the door and got off. Hahaha
What were those weird words that Jayden Lee said to the air hostess? I couldn't get that???
Haha, I agree. I like Shin Seung Rok, but after watching a few eps, playing a character that's supposed to be a foreigner (if i'm not mistaken American or lived in the US?) he should really practice his English pronunciation because I had no idea what he was saying either every time he's supposedly speaking English :D
