Like it couldve just ended once they had the kid or even before that when the narrator came back to say they spent…
they couldn't because it was such a low budget drama, they don't have the money to do that. they weren't even planning to make a S2, that was obvious from the ending of S1
I actually enjoyed S2 but yeah you can't skip everything and all and have to follow things thru
i also don't know if you understand chiense or not becasue sometimes the english subs are off and don't really explaain things well
Is it just me, or does her portrayal of the modern woman is way over the top and caricaturish? Like, I just kept…
i find it okayish, yeah it was really weird in the beginning, but once you get pass that, it's pretty okay :D love the jokes where the fourth wall seems to be broken and all too
Can somebody help me understand why this drama is so popular? I've no problem with the Male Lead's acting but…
thats because season 1 was a very low budget drama, they didn't expect it to get this popular, they got more budget in S2 and S3 got way more budget too
if you compare it to other low budget webdrama, this i still pretty okay

the novel tiself is about the couple travelling around to different worlds and this drama kinda made it this way because they didn't expect S1 to be that popular, thats why we get a S2 and S3. I haven't started s3 yet but it seems that we'll get to know more and get the gaps filled too this drama isn't one where you understand everything after just one season, you gotta keep watching to get the entire story ^^ I liked hte last 4 episodes, tho it was a bit rushed, it really did explain who they really were and why certain things happend. I rather have that than an ending like any other with more plot holes than it should
agreed! the stories aren't as interesting and they just keep trying to scare them
i don't find wowkie fitting in the team.... I really miss Wei Daxun, he was such a good player too. I don't mind the scary jumps, but i don't agree all episodes should be like that, the first season relied more on riddles and puzzles while now it's different. I still enjoy it very much but i want good players as guests, loved bai as guest event ho he didn't do much i don't like the itnerviews in the middle of the episodes tho, should keep it at teh end
Huh? Those essential skills (as per your description) are exactly Xiao Jinyu's traits.
i find it okay he's missing it, doesn't make sense that as a judge he can do martial arts and he had a weak health since he was little, so he didn't practice it, it's pretty normal. A male lead who can do everything seems way too unrealistic. I absolutely love that the characters here have their own weakensses like his brother who doesn't particulary recognize a difficult word because he probably spend more time practicing martial arts than reading literature
I don't dislike it but I am getting pretty bored now at ep. 11. It feels a little dry. Does it pick up soon? And…
romance isn't the main theme of this drama but the cold cases are. Romance takes a backseat but I liekd it, it's pretty good balanced imo their romance is really mature
can someone please spoil me whats up with jing yi and his father? I'm at episode 8 now and it feels like he's a good person but then again feels so supicious too, thank you!
Can I watch only this season without having watched the first two seasons? The storylines are related to each…
definitely will need the previous 2 seasons otherwise you won't really understand and the pacing would be weird then. If you have watched since S1 then everything kinda makes sense and you can link things together much better ^^
