To be fair, I guess this show's probably originally slated for a total of 36 episodes instead of 39? It makes perfect sense if that's the case (Wang Kai said the hug will be in ep 35 because that's how things are in the scripts that he got).

I apologize for making you feel that way. I could've worded my sentence better. Rest assured, I wasn't referring to you per se. In general, some CP fans have been shipping her with her married co-star (very sick of them to even think that). Hence the word "men" when I added LC to the list.

Jdramas are always rated lower on this site for whatever reason. It's disappointing.
Mdl ratings for kdramas are pretty much the same as cdramas. Hence why I don't put much emphasis on mdl ratings when picking up shows to watch.

Not a huge mystery. One's mileage may vary. Seems to me that those who love this are more vocal than those who don't enjoy this as much as others.

Imo, it's the other dramas that are overrated. If anything I find most mdl ratings for jdramas & thai dramas pretty realistic.

Honestly this is more of a slice of life than romance. And yes, happy ending.
Depends on one's taste/current mood, really. I enjoyed watching the families & friends dynamics. Shed some tears too (which is a rare thing for me). But if you're looking for pure heart fluttering romance drama, then it's better to look for something else 😊
