I don't care about the ratings but 9.2!!! 😮 This is the only drama where I've been rating every episode and consistently giving them 10/10 because they're so good! Normally I only rate dramas overall at the end after I finish watching, not episode by episode.

Every character, I mean every single character in this show has great chemistry with one another.

If it keeps going like this, this will be the best cdrama I've watched to date.

Whenever ZLH’s new drama drops, I mourn that this show still hasn’t aired. It’s like reliving the pain all over again.

Finishing all 5 episodes back to back is rare for me but these episodes go by so fast because they’re so good! It has everything, engaging plot, good pacing, emotion, comedy, natural acting, great chemistry, beautiful people, cinematography, music. I just wish ZLH could use his own voice but I like the voice actor they used as well.

i know, just saying pursuit of jade sounds too generic and lame. zhu yu is better, sounds better to my nonchinese ears and is easier to pronounce as well.

I wish they had kept the title Zhu Yu. It was so much better.

Can’t wait! It’s been far too long! I need to see Zhang Linghe back in a historical drama again. I miss him 😭

it's been one month already! but don't remember how many times i've watched this movie. i even watched it in english dub lol. im obsessed. everything about this movie is pure art. it's one of the best things i've watched in a long long time.

What Keita did was hiphop. He doesn’t have any ballroom dancing experience. Both genres are vastly different. I think Ryoma is naturally in tune with his body.

omg can’t you see it? they’re speaking to each other through their dance! and it’s so breathtaking to witness that. isn't that the whole point of the movie! their emotions, their feelings, their doubts, their insecurities, their passions....all are woven together in their every movement. meaning, they become a single soul when they dance together. we don’t always need shallow dialogue to spell it out when the actors are already saying everything with their eyes, their bodies, their presence. and if some people can’t see that then to each their own.

This has officially become my number one BL drama/movie of all time. Sorry Utsukushii Kare, you’ve been dethroned 🥹

not sure if you've read these danmei before, but lan wangji from mdzs, chu wanning from erha, mo xi from yuwu come close. im a sucker for this kind of character as well. they are so immaculate and restrained, bound by rules and propriety, just watching them finally crack is truly a beautiful thing to behold.

I’m dead. I had high expectations but it turned out to be even more majestic than I imagined. I don’t use this word lightly, but this is a masterpiece!!! Omg both Ryoma and Keita were brilliant!!! I’m so overwhelmed with emotion right now. Please let there be a sequel to this 😭🙏
