oh gosh this went downhill so much... I thought this just had 10 eps but now I have to watch another episode of…
There's plenty of great ones as of recent years, you just have to be on the look out for them; check out these: - Cherry Magic - Animals - Omameda Towako to Sannin no Motootto - Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte - Yugure ni, Te wo Tsunagu - First Love: Hatsukoi (very popular outside of jdrama circle too) - Silent (also very popular outside of jdrama circle) - Okaeri Mone (not a romance show but the writing (and chemistry) when it comes to the romance aspects of the show honestly outperform most romance shows!) - Ore no Kawaii wa Mousugu Shohikigen!? - Old Fashion Cupcake - Colorful Love - Kieta Hatsukoi - Neechan no Koibito - #Remolove
I liked watching some of this but I got cringy at the Covid subject like that was a very cringe period of time…
no idea what "cringe period of time" is supposed to mean when it's the reality we all faced. i would argue you wouldn't see such things in anime (or as much) and this being an live action adaptation depicting real people going through this life changing event, it's the perfect medium to show what some mothers/parents might have went through during this time. not to mention moving forward now that we're in 2023, we most likely won't be seeing any more coverage of that time period
I finished this and still can't put my finger on exactly what makes this unexciting and not gripping to the viewer because as for me it never put me on the edge of my seat or made me feel any bit of urge to watch the next episode. It's far from uninteresting 100% but you can feel there's something missing and I'm not sure what it is. Lack of comedy, maybe? They could've made the Hirayasu-Daibajin dynamic more of a buddy cop dynamic with them bantering and that would make the experience more fun to watch. Doesn't help the grey/yellow scenery for every scene is painfully tedious too.
Sorry but the show is starting to lose me. No matter what new obstacle introduced in each episode, they have no…
I agree on this, I just immediately shut off my mind when the show starts diving into the in-and-outs for every industry. But I keep staying just for the cast/characters and just to see the endgame.
I thought they got officially together after ep 6... but apparently they're not? What was that kiss and confession…
I read somewhere the screenwriter hasn't had any plans on what the ending will be and are going off based on the audiences' reactions. Seems like they're just writing on the fly which seems like a terrible idea.
Can't go into this drama expecting the business aspect to be portrayed realistically/informative but it is very much entertaining to watch especially with the cast and their characters
Takumi is so embarrassing to have around good lord someone please get him a partner so he'll stop being around Natsumi lol like his indecisive ass can't decide to either chase after a married woman that has zero interest in you or your childhood friend you already harshly rejected
Anyone else started tearing up a bit at the end of EP5? Might sound like a stretch but it felt like watching a friend we know and wishing the best for our friend.
The first three episodes were hard to get through as they were incredibly slow but things are finally looking promising in EP4 now that Yuka is joining them as well
