gonna go off on a rant here but i just finished watching the drama, how is literally nobody talking about the stab wound that Onizuka got? Like how do you even ignore that plot? Tondou stabbed him, he made his way to the school while bleeding out, bled out while answering the exams and how is nobody questioning that? Like what are the police doing? Where does the police think he got stabbed from? Why do they seemingly not know or not care that he got stabbed? Like, he's in the hospital for a reason. Where's that knife now? Probably still has Tondou's fingerprints on it too considering he held his knife with his bare hands.
The fact that they ignored this really bothered me because they kept heavily pushing on Onizuka on the fact that he beat up 11 students, calling those beatdowns "attempted murder" which was a huge stretch considering they would've probably killed Onizuka right there but they were ignoring the fact that Onizuka got freaking stabbed and could've died on the spot and THAT'S not attempted murder? And how come Miyabi & Murai didn't speak up about it? Tondou threatened them saying who's going to believe them but then again didn't Murai just say they'd do anything to protect Onizuka? This didn't make me stop watching the drama or anything like that but it really annoyed me the whole time.
Suda Masaki gives 300% in here. This is a very high quality production, don't let the genre scare you away. It…
some call him out for being a bad actor for "screaming" all the time (which is nuts because I think he's an amazing actor) but the thing is, he's played a lot of characters and each character is always distinctive from the other and his characters actually has reasons to start shouting so it's not totally random for suda masaki to start shouting
I really liked episode 8, I liked how he got his students back but are we seriously going to look past the fact that he allegedly had sexual relations with another student? Weren't they all keen on getting Onizuka fired because of that crime? All of a sudden every teacher forgot Onizuka supposedly did that despite heavily pushing the agenda that he allegedly was involved with another student?
Togo was a slimy bastard from the start to the end, lol. his fight with Teiichi at the end was sloppy (but definitely on purpose lol) and it didn't need to be more than that because the movie didn't need an intense fight scene out of nowhere.
I had this movie on plan-to-watch for a while now because the description and the tags kinda threw me off, but believe me you can just start up the movie right now and you'll eventually get the plot anyway. But anyhow, I thought it'd be too much for me to keep up but after watching it, I can say it is really good. Never once got bored of it. The movie really knows how to suck you in and every scene keeps the flow of the movie going because it was always intriguing.. I really liked the psychological aspects in this.
Great watch and the cast is crazy good too. Give it a watch because I find myself rewatching it too.
I know right! i would've cried for days if they showed us them being life less on the floor, i didnt like the…
when they showed Ikuo realising Tacchan was long gone, my heart ache a little. but then they showed tatsuya's right hand man eating omelette and crying got me crying real bad aughhhhh
I reaaallly liked this movie but, is it just me or did Meisa Kurokis character seem... somewhat pointless ?
just rewatched it. it seems to me, her character is there to help Genji to gain trust from Makise, Katagiri's backstory and her being kidnapped was the straw that broke the camel's back which sets up the big fight for suzuran at the end

edit: watched it and still think the supporting roles are better actors
