Gintama is a casting miracle. It boggles the mind to see how starstudded the movie is.
Agreed, the cast is amazing. I just wish Takasugi was played by somebody else. Sato Takeru would've been perfect. His cold stares and his voice would be fitting tbh
the first two episodes were a bit boring but glad I watched it till the end. love it!
agreed i rewatched the first two episodes with a friend who hasn't seen this, it did feel like they were a bit slow and rather boring and i couldn't help but notice my friend was getting bored of it but i was like, "but wait believe me it gets better later on", lol.
anyone feel like Minami from the first episode is too cold and literally for the rest of the episodes, he was this soft kind caring guy? it's almost like they're both different characters, they're so distinctive from the other
Can someone clear up the confusion for me about the extra scene after the credits?
Kaga says "When we did the shuffle, it's a good thing I was in Ayumi's body." Kochiro who was in charge of the shuffle, smiles and Kaga says, "oh you didn't!". Kochiro then says "you think i'd let you?" and afterwards, Kaga says "you always take the good stuff".
Here's the thing though, in the shuffle, Kaga was never in Ayumi's body, he was in Umine's body. So it'd make no sense for Kaga to say "It's a good thing I was in Ayumi's body" which he wasn't, and the joke after that doesn't make sense. Is this a mistake in the subtitles perhaps?
He does mostly play a serious, quiet, stoic character most of the time though.
