Also title was annouced in 2021, i'm not sure, it was only filmed like..in 2024 i think? so it wasn't dropped like that, because of some ending soon license or smth...but yeah, IQiyi tends to do so latetly. Youku also did so with Justice in the Dark, second round, after first block.
So dunno...officialy they not banned from promoting it earlier, but maybe the plan was to stay lowkey, just drop it from thin air, and see what's happend. What's only always weirds me out, it's why they don't drop fulll drama in one go, like they do sometimes with those shorter one. But oh well...the most important part it's out, but i get, that for people marking their calendars, wants some hype beforhand etc. it might be a hassle.

That's untrue. Many titles from past two years, drops without any prev promo nor announcements, only gossips. This one was gosspied to air yesterday or between 11-13 as next prediction. Sometimes even actors weren't informed, and they were dropping they chara posters etc. with delay. I assume it's because they unsure to the last hour , if it will drop , especially that IQiyi is latetly notorious , with backing off dramas, annouced earlier , or even with full drama calendars so...
