Apparently title will be split into two parts 31+16 eps, so in total it should be 47 eps , BUT it's so far RUMORED, no official confirmation from Tencent/Cctv was made, also it's unclear if it will air in one go/some short break in between , especially that longer titles got green light last month. Just wanna put it here . It's NOT CONFIRMED YET, but no. of eps can change / title could be split. We will see what they officially annouce.

As far i know Tomb Riders are based on the same book /share same universe to some extend. So they are connected to each other as adaptations in a sens of the sharing the same source/world/theme/author whatever you call it. Here we have more like an anthology thing, from lack of better analogy. Even chinese page states :

Those are stand alone titles, still in the same "franchise", and they ain't connected by characters, plots etc. so that's why it's added like that. And that way - you can at the end mark the "main' title if you watched all of them.. Or just add to the list, the respected one, you watched, like for example only this one. Because otherwise how would be fair to rate /add as completed the main one, if you watched only one of the stories. Or how would you be able to rate fairly the main one, if you again, watched only for example this title?
And making it as one, would be even more confusing imo. But those are only my 2 cents to the question. I get it might be confusing for people, and they can have opinion on that, but honestly it's hard imo to find fair solution for now. Unless you have some sidepages like some film pages has, when you have main page, and sidepages with seasons style of stuff, but still combined to one. Here we don't have it so... :/

how is the episode count keep going up! the day it started it was like 18, then it was 31 and now it’s 43!
Because it was first accepted by censorship as full drama 18 ep with 40+ min episodes , then Youku dropped calendar with 31 eps , but only today Youku drama page updated it finally, to correct no with 43 eps [not full calendar dropped yet] and around 20 min eps
