At first it was planned to have two versions - drama and movie. Now we are trying to check what is what. But it seems, only movie version aired for now, as planned, and someone wrongly edited poster on drama page. So please wait a little, until we will check it further :)
I dropped it after 1 ep, which with 3 min eps it says a lot. Plots seems to be ridiculous, and i agree with @Hime. It looks like some random scenes, put together. And if you can't grasp the story with first episode, even so short, i doubt it will got any better later. And i read some spoilers, and welp. Anyway i enjoy those very short dramas, some are cringy, some are fun, but this one, is simple confusing and badly made.
I dont get it. They should just make them into a movie.
Because they are cheap to make, they are mostly now made on the phone/mobile, don't need much budget, don't need to be checked by censorship yada yada yada, but still to short, to make it to be a full movie, because of the type of the story it's in it...so just choice :p
Well as @miao2575 mention, information about cast changes, are OLD in a sens, almost nobody from the first one, wanted to stay with the cast. And it's something, what was mentioned for some time, so i don't understand, why people are so suprised. Especially that old cast, mentioned many times, how time consuming and exhausting it was, to film first season, and how it blocked up, all other projets for them. Plus, i belive issue with pandemic, didn't help a lot, and move everything in time, even more. And keep in mind, it's a different timeline, so change in cast, make sens. And about "new" cast, they are considering it. So for now, we remove them, but only because it's not officialy confirmed, they are on board.
Just in case - we are aware that wiki page, has 3+ episodes. But we are waiting ,to know are they are specials , BTS etc. and should we add it to DB. Anyway whatever it is , it's airing from 6-8.04, and then on 11, https://mydramalist.com/719349-secret-house is airing.
it's hard to tell how much is too much ^^" but yeah, we have some, but not so long, and first movie was from 1997, when gore had a little other vibe, and now it even looks little cringy, because of the outdated special effects . Still, i think it's more into thriller/ psychological title, than gore. So no worries, if you don't like those, i think we have 2 or 3, not so long scenes?
Well, for me it was so so adaptation? Dunno why, i like more original movie. I'm not sure if the overall story, is overdated, or maybe it was done poorly? Or it was just sentiment issue. Acting was so so ( i liked the most Goto and Asako), but overall imo it was too long and simple boring.
