Can someone explain to me what's the matter with a woman pouring wine to a man? I have seen several historical dramas where the characters seem shocked when the female character is forced to do so.
Only the eagles know she is female and of course the Tangs. She otherwise still dressed up as man
Do the Eagles really know this or just Mu Jin, Mimi and Sun? I'm not sure Sun had fun revealing to everyone that his military advisor was a girl, knowing that spies are everywhere...
We will never know. The show doesn't show us much regarding Li Shimin's train of thought. His character development…
Li Shimin finds it easier to chat with someone who shares the same knowledge and interests as him than with his sweet, delicate, innocent and inexperienced daughter. At that time, women were restricted to the home and considered "delicate things" by many. It becomes difficult to find common things to discuss, which creates a distance between father and daughter despite their love for each other.
Anyone can enlighten me why does Li Shimin thought Changge martial arts and military stratiges but he didn't do…
Changge had the determination and the desire to train in martial arts. You don't force a child to do something they don't like especially if it doesn't correspond to what is expected of them. Leyan was gentle and delicate in nature. If she didn't want learning martial arts her father wasn't going to force her to, knowing that her role later would be to get married and be a good wife and mother. Changge has always been free, the eldest child of the heir to the throne (and probably the eldest of the royal grandchildren). Her mother and father did not restrict her, therefore, loving "man" things, she was brought up much like a Prince.
You sure tomorrow it's 8 episodes? Where? Is it on viki?
Are you sure? On the calendar it is indicated that episode 25 will be broadcast next Monday. Is it coming out tomorrow for Tencent's VVIP actually? If so, how do someone become a VVIP please?
Does anyone have any idea why Tencent is releasing this drama so slowly? After the 6 episodes, you have to wait…
We have 6 episodes per week (with a 5 day wait between each episodes pack), which equates to 4 hours of drama per week, which is huge. From March 31 to May 12 (so in less than a month and a half) we will have the entire drama. I sometimes wait months between episodes 9 and 10 of my American series and it takes 8 months for a season to be complete. So I'm not complaining too much, although I'm looking forward to the continuation of this drama!
10 first episodes seen. The story in the past is entertaining although there are some things that are not very believable: the FL behaves like a teenager while she is a young adult in the present, also she seems ready to sacrifice her career, her friends and her life in modern times to become... what? The housewife of a polygamous prince whom she barely knows. It is not very belivable. Not to mention the loss of memory and the fact that she confuses the 4th prince with the 13th. She is a modern woman and yet, just because her hazy memories make her believe that she came for the 4th prince, she tells herself that she must follow that and not her heart which falls for the 13th prince. Hard to believe. But if we ignore that, the story is interesting for now.
Is this drama deserve although the negativity about the misunderstandings and are they be misunderstood along…
This drama is neither good nor bad. It is entertaining, especially in the first part. The second part is poorly written. If you are looking for a healthy relationship, the secondary couple will satisfy you but not the main one who, in the second part, suffers from a lack of trust that makes us wonder why they love each other, lack of communication and lack of real consolidation of their love. The ML is worth watching, but the writing of the FL has pissed off a lot of people, including me.
