I love a slow burn romance too! It's so interesting to watch a relationship build step by step through different phases. It's often too boring when the romance takes place right away (because either the writers no longer know how to thrill the audience for the couple, or the writing is not that great and so on). While when it takes its time, it allows us to have a lot of adventures with the couple (in terms of feelings, friendships, problems and so on). Thanks for the preview link! I hadn't looked at them yet.
Poor Mimi. From the start I suspected that she was a spy given that she had a somewhat bizarre attitude when she arrived in the camp and, from a script point of view, her character had to be more than a cute young slave. But she is so adorable and we understand the complexity of her situation. Unfortunately, since her arrival in the story it has written "future tragic death" on her forehead. Changge's biological and foster siblings unfortunately don't survive long. And Mimi's character will be no exception. Even more if the 2 main couples have a happy ending, a couple must be tragic and I believe that Mimi & Mu Jin have drawn the wrong straw.

Thank you so much, you're an angel!! x)
I love to see A'Sun start to be less discreet about his feelings for Changge. He has decided to spend his life with her and behaves like her lover, even if the latter is not yet ready to let him do as he wants.
Hopefully they will be able to cure people and Mu Jin! Besides, you said Mimi Guli was a spy. Did she intentionally contaminate the division or was it an accident?

Khatun didn't have it easy, that's for sure, and if she didn't have such a dark soul, I would feel sorry for her. I also think Aye'er committed suicide to free her son from all this scheming and this life of compulsion where he couldn't be who he was, forced to follow orders out of fear rather than conviction. It's sad but at the same time beautiful, her last act of love for him that he has understood well.
Since you understand Chinese, can I bother you with more questions if you don't mind? 1: What does Changge say when she refuses to drink entwine with Sun in episode 31? 2: What do A'Sun and Changge promise each other in episode 32? 3: Who is the man Sun is playing chess with? 4: Who is the teenager we see in episode 36? 5: Why is Changge going to this country?
If you don't have time to answer me, don't worry. It's already nice to have answered me so far x)

Thank you for your detailed answer! I suspected that Khutan had planned everything to get rid of Sun by involving his mother in the escape plan but to have the confirmation really hurts.
Did anyone understand what was going on in episode 33? What's going on with Mimi Guli? And what does the Khutan say at the very end of the episode? Thank you in advance.
Episode 24: I can understand why he snapped... She has been running around making all kinds of fucked up plans…
I didn't know that because a man was in love with a woman, it was her fault if he chosed to risk his life for her. She never asked him for help, always made plans so as to not involve him or his division and expressly asked him not to intervene. But she has the right to save the people she cares about. Why is he complimented when he risks his life and his men for a person he cares about but she gets blamed when she does the same?
I can't believe Du Ru Hui is chasing down Changge even in his deathbed xD What possible threat could a little…
Someone, Leyan or other, would have to write to the Emperor to tell him what's going on. It is incredible that a minister would allow himself to override the orders of his emperor!
The relationship between A’Sun and Changge kinda sad and one-sided. He is way more into her than vice versa.…
It's not a one-sided love, it's just that they're not at the same point in their feelings. Firstly, Ashile Sun is in the invading side which allows him to be more tender with Changge than she can afford to be with someone who invades her country, causing the death of her men, and makes her a slave. Secondly, for 15 episodes, Changge thinks Sun is an unscrupulous merchant. We quickly see that she is attracted to him but cannot allow this attraction to develop given the little she knows about him and the fact that she has her own goal. Moreover, until episode 16, she believes their relationship is that of two men (since she doesn't know he discovers her gender) which kept her from seeing that Sun had romantic affection for her. In view of all this, it is understandable that her romantic feelings takes longer to develop unlike Sun who quickly discovers that she is a woman as well as her real identity and is in a position of strength against her. .
We need to get some MV artists involved in our fandom! I need a steady supply of expertly woven scenes, stringed…
I approve so much! I long for beautiful fmv about the story, the characters, the couples and so on... Have you seen these 2 videos that tell the story of the main couple step by step using the drama's OST? The meeting and the friendship between Sun & Changge: https://youtu.be/617mGssOiuo The war with Sun & Changge on each side: https://youtu.be/tjvapFSNF5Y I posted them under your videos post.
I didn't know it was a deleted scene...Is that why she kicked him where it hurt the most ?lol...
Yeah it seems so. The two have the same outfit as in this scene (male outfit for Mimi that she will never have again after that) and Mimi is holding the plate with the sheep. So it seems the reason she was supposed to hit him was for that before they deleted it.
So it's Sheer who grabbs the Khan's gift by force? Or did Sheer cheat and make the Khan think he won and it was Sun who grabbs the gift from Sheer's hand? It was a bit confused. And the camera suggests that the kid in blue was Sheer but on twitter people are using the photo of the same boy to talk about Sun.
I just realized that in the ending we see Mu Jin accidentally touching Mimi Guli's breasts during their fight for food in episode 18. So that must be the real reason she is hitting him at this time. Anyone know why it got deleted while it's still in the ending? And do you think we'll have deleted scene (like kiss or others)?
How can you watch the raw ep. but subbed?? Or u just watch them raw ??
Personally, I watch the subtitled episodes on viki (2 episodes at 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Otherwise, I watch the raw of the following episodes on duboku but since I don't understand, I skipped a lot.
I didt quite understand the first 2 epsiode like why only Chang Ge mother is killed who else is killed and why…
The female lead is the only daughter of the Crown Prince. Her grandfather, at the end of his life, is the emperor and has 3 sons. Changge's 2nd uncle had his 2 brothers and their family killed by saying that they were going to rebel, which justifies the killing in the eyes of the people and the emperor. We only see Changge's mother's body because that's where Changge is going. Her father died outside the palace and her brothers were certainly killed with him or in their quarters (being the children of concubines). Don't hesitate if you have other questions.
I agree with you. Everytime changge does try to risk her life because she thought there is no purpose of living…
I agree with you, there is something very suspicious about this. First, it is impossible that Kuthan, who is in her tent all day, could not only know that Changge was a girl but that she was also from the Central Plains. Then, it's weird that she trusts this stranger, telling her about all her woes as Changge caused problems for Sher. And finally, oddly enough, she's no longer there to protect Alir when she returns, nor during all the time Sher threatens Sun with his mother. And it's only when Sher is in danger that she shows herself. Besides, it's pretty fishy that it's Sher's right-hand man, who is loyal to Kuthan and seems to have a secret agenda with her that Sher ignores, who stops Alir and inspects the barrel. As if it was planned to make her accused of this crime.
And yes, Changge and A'Sun both neglected the consequences of such an act, it is their only fault here.
Sun has finally decided to woo his woman, yeah!! lmao
When does she say that to him and what exactly is she saying please?
It broke my heart the speed and ruthlessness of Dopey's death (nickname I gave him).
