Im happy that people dug up the past because otherwise he would have gotten away with it and never apologized, now he can hold himself accountable and reflect on his mistakes. Lets not justify what he said based on how much time has passed, like I said down below people have time to grow and learn from the past but that doesn't make it an excuse. I give him a second chance but others are allowed to be mad. Don't invalidate anybody just because we forgive them doesn't mean everyone has to ❤

People have a right to be hurt by it. Not only did he say women deserve to be raped but he also said to take it as an opportunity. Even if time has passed, they are entitled to not support him anymore, im willing to give him a second chance but I understand why people can't do the same. What he said is so damaging
