It's important to remember that he was also a child at the time and may have been too scared to stand up against the bullies so people often blame him for not speaking up, but he was barely 15/16, he had no courage. Besides earth loves him, he speaks about perth alot and how great their friendship is

There are plenty but one that stands out to me is Mean Phiravich, he played in love by chance with perth, he said the only way he will ever do BL again is if he gets poor and needs money urgently, he also bullied earth for being gay and made homophobic remarks

Chimon is not homophobic but I will say there are plenty of guys taking on BL roles while being against LGBTQ because of the money, but yes chimon is just bad at kissing but a good actor overall

It's disappointing to see this show receive such a low rating. While the MDL rating might not generally matter, given the limited promotional opportunities, every bit of influence on any platform counts for this show. If it becomes popular enough, it could encourage more danmei adaptations that actually involve China. While Thailand has produced danmei adaptations, they can't be as true to the source, especially regarding costumes and acting. Danmei is best portrayed when China is involved; it's a harsh truth. This show genuinely feels like a C-drama, despite its low budget, which is how danmei should feel.

He ruins the Jin family, because of him, both Xiao bao and his parents get imprisoned, there xiao Bao is left crippled, he endures over 100 needles in each limb which will trigger an immense and unbearable pain whenever he feels cold, Xiao Bao is scared of pain in the novel so this is his biggest nightmare, he changes completely -- he doesn't smile anymore and its safe to say Huai En took away all of his shine 😭

I expected it, this is the same author from my stand in 😭 they dimmed it down in the show, although it was non consensual at least we didn't witness huai en beat him and being as brutal as in the novel😭

In the novel, his actions are 10 times worst, he beats Xiao Bao until he is unconscious then rapes him very brutally, this happens several times afterwards.

If you look at the trailer there is a scene involving Huai En finding Xiao Bao in a borthel, this leads to an other scene where he rapes and beats him, and this is after them already being in a lovely dovey phase.

Xiao Bao apologises for it in the end because he thinks its his fault for going to a borthel 😭

But this is honestly not the angst, there is one thing that Huai En does that completely breaks him to the point where he doesn't even want to see Huan En anymore

They are following the novel very closely, prepare for angst y'all 😭
