Sigh, it's very chaotic. One thing I can say as a Christian is that being homophobic is not okay.

First, Christianity teaches love and compassion for all people. Jesus himself emphasized loving your neighbor as yourself, this fundamental principle is incompatible with harboring hatred or prejudice against anyone, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Second, judgment is reserved for God, not humans. Jesus warned against judging others harshly in Matthew 7:1-2, reminding us that we will be judged in the same way we judge others. This calls Christians to approach others with humility and understanding rather than condemnation.

Third, homophobia damages relationships and communities. It creates an environment of fear and exclusion, which is contrary to the inclusive and accepting nature that Jesus modeled.

Fourth, homophobia can cause significant harm to individuals, leading to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and even suicide. As Christians, we are called to care for the well-being of others.

Finally, being homophobic contradicts the message of grace and redemption central to Christianity. Everyone is a sinner in need of grace, and the gospel message is about God's love and mercy extended to all. Singling out a group for condemnation misses the broader message of universal grace and redemption.

In summary, being homophobic is not okay because it goes against the core Christian values of love, compassion, humility, and grace. It harms individuals and communities, undermining the inclusive and loving spirit that should characterize Christianity.

Calling BL fans sick, losers and such is judgemental, hateful and disgraceful.

Excluding someone from the religion itself because of their sexuality is pushing them away from God, which is a big sin in itself.

For everyone saying that being against gay people is something that should be respected because of a religion, I think they need to go back to church.

It's honestly so disappointing. That company not only straightwashed an entire queer romance, but they also didn't pay their actors. Yet, everyone still wants to praise them because they turned a gay story into something straight as if that's something worth applauding.
