Ah ;; i m stingy haha i actually give out 10/10 a lot but as time goes by, i compare dramas with the ones that made me cry/that were more intense. 2014 me would give this drama a 11/10 🥹 but im more into mystery/thriller and to me a drama like the killer’s shopping list for example has a more interesting and unpredictable plot. 😳 this one was still great but the ending with the prosecution /judgement of OTS was too rushed.

They went the easy route, i wish it would ve taken longer yes

This one deserves a great 9/10. I enjoyed it so so much.

hi. i watched it in a airplane from seoul to taipei. sohee takes her own life. we see how her job is killing her and how she has no one to confides to. she starts to dim, little by little, and after silent cries to help she passes away (walks in a water resevoir one evening and is found dead the next morning). this is extremely sad and the cop (bae doo na) grieves and tries to make things right but you canr change a whole system…

the acting was great. the actors did a great job. but i have to say, the story wasnt my favorite and i do get why it s probably better as a webtoon than as a drama. still good though i really like the casting and their perfomances a lot so im giving it a 7.

I watched it months ago and gave it a good rating but imo the setting (timeline with thr restaurant and most of the scrnes taking place in the same small neighborhood) made it draggy.. It felt long week after week because all i wanted was to see them open the restaurant or something.. but they kept working on it without really showing us them working seriously on it if that makes sense? Some plot devices felt weird. I think it s not a writing error but a director’s choice, but that didnt transcribe well. On paper the pace is good but watching on a screen it s kind of long? And i remember back then thinking that i would prefer a book version of this drama.
Ps. An example of a drama of the same year with a wonderful execution of thrilling pace in a small setting was “the killer s shopping list” (with lee kwang soo) idk if you ve watched it, but it s actually based on a book and the pace is so so good. Not boring at all and also it isnt really a romance kdrama, more like just a mystery thriller. But comparing the two… i know why some people found this one a bit boring
but yes great casting. the two leads had a nice chemistry
