Did the drama mention it being an open-ending or smth? cause It geniunely is a sad ending and it's obvious that Lin Luxiao dies, even from the start where he says "my life belongs to the country but my heart belongs to you" (smth similar to that), you're able to guess that this means he's life will be taken by the country but as long as he lives his heart will belong to hers no matter how far they are even if thats from USA to Lushan personally I took this quote as a foreshadow. Besides, you're able to see the sadness in the firefighters eyes and how they kept a sit for him which they did the same thing for yu qilei when he died. Moreover, at the last part where it shows that the ml is crying he is in the middle of the stage with no one around implying that it's her imagination and lastly he picks the seat 34 which then is empty showing that it's all fake and he isn't actually visible there. I think overall the drama is really good but it's definitely a sad ending, I can't see how anyone can believe that Lin LuXiao didn't die cause they did make it quite obvious. /nbr

Someone give wang ziqi award for being able to illustrate such an amazing act for Lou Ming Ye especially as a side character cause man went from being the character I hated the most to loving character sm to the point I'm always scared they'll show he died (thankfully they didn't) and rooted for him sm
