I like the character, I think sheās light years ahead of her parents.
Is she being selfish yes, immature yes. But so is the chairman. When youāre in love you want what you want. You donāt see it as what it is. She doesnāt wake up & say how can I mess up the professorās life. Her parents often do wake up with those thoughts.
I think the writers maybe didnāt flesh out a full life for her character. It would have been better if she when to the library or coffee shop often and be out of the house.

I think SeRi was afraid to tell Bom because she potentially hurt HG, her brother. She is almost like a prisoner with her mother not even knocking before entering her room. I think SeRi has been groomed her whole life & isolated. Then while out in the real world she saw an attractive man, which in college and grad school sheās been exposed to other attractive men (potentially). I think when she met HaNi a LOT of emotions opening up in her. She saw she could form a complete family with the beautiful baby and aloof yet good looking and kind professor. SR had been groomed to think only HG was for her.
Yes she does have boundary issues, look at her motherās boundary issues.
