I just can’t believe the writer can’t empower GH to have any autonomy regarding her life. She’s not a child, should should have the final say in her life. And yes I also agree that sometimes women gagged to work twice as hard to accomplish the same thing as her make counterparts. That’s why they are often shown to be tougher and harder working in Television & movie roles. I think true equality has not been accomplished especially in a police environment that has been a “boys club” long before women “were even allowed” to work in that field. I don’t know about the particulars I’d that in SK but I’m sure it didn’t start out with women being able to work in that field. Sorry for the editorial. 🫣🤔🫤

A few weeks (+/-) ago there was also talk of promotion opportunities within the police department because the amount had now been confirmed or reasonably confirmed to be 10 million dollars and not just a 1000 dollars. While the chief wanted MR to get promoted to be equal in rank to SJ (his wife), the chief also saw this as an opportunity to get promoted. I do agree that MR yelling at the chief to apologize to his mother kind of pushed her over the edge. To prove she wasn’t wrong and she is as a superior police detective to him. And most recently because he lied to her!
