I completely get & agree with you! I didn’t get much traction when I have said days in the past they (DR’s family) did not steal the money. They took it from what the learned was a criminal (from MR, I think) at his funeral. And they (grandparents) asked many times if they or the family could get in trouble for using stolen money if they didn’t steal it. Now irl if you find 10 million dollars in a bag or two, it definitely belongs to someone.
I get why JY is unhinged, but she’s acting like a lunatic. However if she was not set in the tax issue, she would have reported 10 million stolen not $1000. The police would have done more to find it, & the Lee family might have heard about the theft of a large amount of money from JY’s house. So while she may have a few points she also caused a few issues being cheap evading taxes. Once stolen she should have said to her father (in heaven?) that she tried to not pay taxes, but it didn’t work. Then report the theft.
I feel really bad for GJ and by association DR. They are in love and should not have to be broken apart.
That’s one thing if this was an American show - adults wouldn’t breakup so easily (🤔🫣😞) AND agree to start dating the day after being broken up. 😤I hope we get more than a few minutes of the leads being happy. But we’ll see soon!
I think I’m WAY too old to start Shoujo shows, but I think I will start Love Scout! I have loved the actor playing the FL in many KDramas and the actor playing the ML was in the Stranger series and very good, too!
It’s not funny, but Iron Family has split viewers in to two (maybe 3) groups:
Group JY: those that think she was wronged
Group BH: (also know as Group Lee) those that think she/they didn’t do enough wrong to deserve what they’re getting
Group DC: don’t care, just want it to be over
I think a more learned person or the “OJ Trial team” could win for either side. Legally vs who’s less wrong or can be more sympathetic often wins.🤦🏻
I can’t help but think if this was an American drama how different this would have gone and ep 34 would be… in my mind anyway. 🤔
Without belaboring the dead horse, I guess that’s the attraction to KDramas for me, they are so different from my way of thinking (culturally, too) and so frustrating to watch the suffering in the hopes of the last 5 minutes being happy. We (or maybe just I) forget the 35.85 (actually more) hours of angst, tears and unbelievable actions by so many we chose to spend time with.🫰🏻

Unlike the leads! I truly hate the forced breakup trope!😡 They are adults, but I understand why GJ is doing it. I know it’s impossible but if perhaps GJ was honest with DR it would hurt more, but she would understand. 🫣
That will really be sad if the grandparents jumped in the river to end their lives and take responsibility for the money situation.😢

I understand JY (GJ’s mother) feels angry or made of fool of, but except for some angst she has been made whole again… No money loss, NO Tax loss!
I hate the part of the KDramas where the fully adult leads HAVE to break up! DR tell GJ how she’s feels about him was beautiful after 32+ episodes and sad because we know what’s coming. Now the entire Lee family has to relocate? I thought the heartbreak of the leads being broken up was enough for JY? 😢🫣😡
Make it make sense. Why would a man continue to desire a woman who does nothing but put him down over and over…

I’m not 100% sure why but I’m not a DS fan, or any character on this show! (Well maybe the lunch delivery person or the other young lady in GH’s department.) That said I feel badly for DS hitting his head against a brick wall called GH!
If he really cares about her he should run as far from her as possible so grandma doesn’t “Audrey” GH’s life! She already started today!
Finally we shouldn’t be too surprised by GH actions… Look at her role models, a mother who is a lunatic and a father that’s a blubbering idiot!
