Ji Seop was conveniently unhinged for a few minutes in the final episode . That was over the top violence on a 20 year old and less than half his weight. Not that any physical violence is acceptable but 1 slap would have been too much but 3. And after Lucia slapped him, he slapped SR again.
I know it was a plot convenience that not one adult female tried to protect “our SeRi” His wife or GC’s sister should have grabbed the golf club to use on him.
He was never violent and even a scaredy-cat through 124 episodes.
And Manager Gong has no consequences for “stealing” a baby, even though she left a replacement.
And yes lots of characters with no final destination. Oh well…🫤

I hated the SR character after the assault on MiSo, but she had a complete transformation. Beginning the moment Lucia gave her the love and care she never had! And desperately needed!

I agree with your post… many Kdrama endings are not as good as their beginnings! It was so out of character for JS to slap SR hard 3 times and no one did anything until Lucia & GC showed up. I guess he does have the chairman’s blood in his veins. I could have accepted yelling maybe grabbing SR … well it’s over so that’s a wrap!🫤
It’s ironic that neither mother (GC or Lucia) puts SR first. Both mothers are still focused on the Min dynasty. I’m not sure that is Lucia’s dream job.
SR almost ended her life and Lucia asks are you okay to go home by yourself? Unless the tears in my eyes caused me to misread the subs… It also seems like Lucia got the heartfelt apology for MiSo’s death she needed from SR.
And while I understand that GC only knows how to parent from the cold, money makes you right perspective, that caused SR to be unhappy and cruel enough to hire a thug to beat MiSo severely.
I guess I don’t see GC helping her grow in to a better person. SR seems to have a much more caring personality than GC already probably from Lucia’s genetics.
I’m still not sure where the “SeRi and her two moms” story is going to end.

I agree, they were funny! I had hoped it would be a little better for the final few episodes… but alas…not. My theory with Kdramas is that communication (lies & omissions) cause most of the issues in the show. Why couldn’t Lucia tell SR she was her biological mother. SR would gave known she cares about her as she went in to a room on fire to save her. That had to count for something!I guess it’s pointless to ask why at this point! 🫣

Yesterday GC taking away SR’s phone and cutting her clothes was ridiculous! As you said she’s an adult. Then later at Stella’s SR was strong enough to push GC off of Lucia and knock her to the ground.
I’m just ready for the conclusion…

Very true, it’s really a 5 character story: the 4 Leads + SR. I know the “mop heads” are supposed to be funny but all I want when their scenes are on is for that scene to be over! (or cut) 🎬

She’s 20 she’s an adult. Many teens don’t listen to their parents. She was independent for so long and now she can’t make any decisions except stay with Lucia and that decision was overturned today. 🫣
