I really feel bad for the ex. Glad they at least got closure. Still, I feel like the FL wasn't fair to him.
I love this Kdrama, even though at times I just want lite and funny. This story has amazing depth and genuine emotional feelings.
While Iām happy that SRās ex is out of the picture for SHās sakeā¦ I think in real life SR & her ex could recover from the issues in the relationshipā¦ he has a depressive response to her depression because he was probably not aware it could happen to SR and how to help her.
It seems āmental illnessā is almost taboo in SK so he had no idea what to do for both her & himself. At least he didnāt cheat on her, that would, in my opinion, be unrecoverableā¦ I am glad he was such a good support system durning her treatment & recovery.
I really think unless things changes, thereās been little Comedy and no Romance between the leads up until now. (I have not seen ep 9 yet)
Iām NOT saying this is not a good Kdrama.
But if someone says ālook a my new pickup truck and theyāre showing you a carā¦ā - youāre going to be confused.
Still I love the leads and second leads. Not SRās mother š” There is time to totally change the feel of the show, but at this point itās more like a melodrama.
PS: QoT > Genres: Comedy, Romance, Life, Drama I did not find there was much comedy at all.
Maybe LND needs a Genre adjustment, so we look at it through the proper lensā¦ (No hate, just an opinion)
