Xk played more period roles and I don't think any roles were in his 30s. Xianxa, fantasy doesn't really count since they never age. I'm actually curious who the director is. Either way, the cast is set already so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. I did hope for xk 7 to collab, and it did come true. I'm just going to leave it at that for now since the filming hasn't even started.

As for the age gap, SWL is known to look older than his age. He can look in his 30s if he wants to. He's pretty known to look older than his actual age, while 7 looks younger than his actual age. So they work well...kinda balances each other. On the other hand, xk looks his age, he really looks 24-26. So how is he to play a guy that's older than 7 by like 8 or so years, and to play in his 30s. I find that a challenge. Both actors/actress are baby face. If they played same age then it will work, but xk's character doesn't just play 7-8yrs older than fl, but also in his 30s. That's why I'm hesitant. But, who knows, maybe it will be another hit like fty. I feel like xk and 7 will create another crazy successful cp

Honest opinion here, as I became a fan of her since GA, noticed her in UTP days, but I have watched her in previous dramas before her UTP days, just never noticed her. I don't like to admit I'm a fan of anyone, but I can blatantly admit I am a fan of her, heh.
I whole heartedly admit she's not beautiful like zly or reba or ym, or tall or have a nice figure. Actually, I think her body ratio isn't as ideal since other short actresses like lusi and Ju Jingyi seems to be tall or at least not look short for their actual height. She definitely has physical inferiorities compared to other prettier actresses. But, I really enjoy her acting. I thought her acting in GA was phenomenal, each crying scene in GA was different. Playing a preteen is very difficult for actresses in their late 20s-30s, it's not just looking the part but also embracing the part and acting it out. Finding an actual younger age actress won't have the experience and skill to act the part. I also admire that she can make any cp happen and do it naturally. For some reason, it just comes natural. She's also a very sweet and humble quite girl irl. She's actually known in the industry now for being low key and down to earth. She doesn't create cp hype to boost popularity for herself and the drama. She has a very clean image. I find her cute, and when she actually dresses up she can be pretty too. She just prefers more comfortable clothes and doesn't buy clothes mostly wear sponsor clothes (she mentioned in an interview). I also like that she has integrity. She won't sell her soul for fame and money. She rather work 15yrs to get to where she is now than to sign with a company. I feel like she has antis bc many don't see what's so special of her, like she's not pretty or have a sultry figure...why does she get fl roles and her dramas are always getting the top views. I guess people find it perplexing bc it doesn't match up... There are plenty of beautiful actresses like gulinazha but her acting is horrible for me. The roles she picks are laughable also. She only has her face. I don't mean to attack her but that's how I see her. Sometimes, I'm sick of seeing those robotic pretty faces on cdramas, it's all so filtered and heavily makeup which is why I sometimes want to watch American shows/tv to get a "cleanse". American celebrities actually show wrinkles and flaws on their face for more realism.
7 doesn't have a large fan base, but she has a large passerby base where many will specifically take a look at her drama when they hear she has a drama airing. I've read many comments online where the moms and dads and even grandparents would watch her dramas and are very entranced.

Top billing just means they are "superior" like first choice kinda. Some fans of 7, actually could just be those busy bodies creating noise and chaos, mentioned that if 7, after the success of fty, does equal with wk then it'll be harder for her to go first string in her future projects
