Yes, there are flaws to this drama. But, the acting of the leads are done so well and natural that I just overlook it haha. I enjoy how comfortable the acting is, no major jealous 2nd fl/2ndml and no typical revenge type. Overall, it's a massive success and I would say many viewers in China agree since the results are excellent. No.1 in all charts and highest viewership. Many enjoy the cp and want them to have a 2nd collab or s2. I mean, 7 doesn't do cp hype and wk doesn't do it anymore, so althought they dont' do any marketing or major promos, many enjoy the onscreen chemistry and want them to date now haha.

I keep track daily of the results on wb, FTY has been no. 1 TV drama since day 2 of airing, according to Vlinkage. FTY also has been no. 1 on overall satellite tv dramas for 2 weeks or more straight, sometimes their score is triple than the no.2 drama. It has reached over 2% rating 3x now (it's very difficult to reach 2%), I'm sure FTY will reach another 2% with the kiss scene...cctv is 4 eps behind online platforms like iqiyi and tencent. currently there is 99 million viewers (i'm not sure if only counts tv viewership or total viewership which includes online and tv platform), which is the highest viewership of this year of all the dramas currently airing (Dylan 32 millions and LYF/LX 24million drama are currently airing as well and FTY results are triple theirs).

Some data and ratings I don't really understand since Idk the chinese meaning, BUT, what I do understand is seeing what drama is no. 1 and FTY is on top no.1 on all those ratings and data. For e.g. I see FTY has 32.18% as top 1 and another drama is 10.48% as top 2. Dylan's drama is 9.53% as top 3 and lyf/lx's drama id 6.76% as no. 6

What’s sahph? Honestly, most of 7’s drama has been pretty good with airing quickly or at least no delays. I feel like it could be her clean background that helps. No controversial issues

Don't mind it, The more conservative gnt is, the more exciting it is when he lets go of everything and courts CX.

No stinking idea. The first time, from my knowledge, that a drama has been rumored for so many months of the same leads, but no director or side characters confirmed. So it kinda still gives me a slight second doubt whether the leads would happen. But the rumors of xk and 7 have been consistent.

Oh! where did you hear the news that it will air in q4 this year? I don't think that's possible since if they begin filming in Jan, will most likely finish in May. Then need to edit, get sponsorships, get the distribution license etc. Most likely q1 or q2 of 2024. Lool, have to wait a whole year and a bit.

it's split into 4 parts (4th part is their marriage life), romance doesn't even remotely start until 2nd part, they break up at end of 2nd part then middle of 3rd part they get back together. First part I skipped cuz it was mostly career and her ex (bf at the time). Ml doesn't appear much until 2nd part.

Sometimes it's not the choice of actor but the script and director. I'm sure if the director wanted more kiss scenes she would've done it. Just wait for Home, there will be tons of kissing scenes

I don't think there will be a couch kissing scene bc CX is drunk. GNT would want to get consent from CX and not just kiss her when she's half unconscious.

This drama probably has only one kiss. The camera better zoom in on their face and lip locking. I want to see some serious lip smacking

I love this kiss, it looks so perfect from the scenery, the night scene, the way he lets her down then bend slightly to lean in for the kiss, the hugging of her. I love the colour scheme also, really reminds me of what romance is.
