Honestly, I wouldn't care, I'm sure there are some anti that intentionally doing this or people that watched liek 1 or 2 eps and decided to judge based on that. What matters are the viewership ratings and heat index and everything else with tencent, hunan and mango tv. As long as it's doing well in China, that's all that matters, and it is doing really well!

in ep 1, HT told ZD to attend a gathering to get that guy's sponsor for his dad's hospital. ZD knew it meant she had to use her beauty/charm and she intentionally used JX as bait! I was so irritated when I saw this. That's the thing with ZD, it meant that before she came to this status (CEO or w.e) she had to use her charm, beauty, and maybe body also to obtain favours for business. This also showed HT is no innocent guy in the business world, he also used ZD for this case as well, but them both mutually consented.

What I oberserved for ep 1 about Zeng Di

XK fans, and those that are familiar with how Tencent promotes their dramas. Do you guys often see Tencent promote with a video edit of the leads' past/previous dramas mashed in to one? I just saw a video made by Tencent where it's like an MV and it's about the lead's 3 lives (like how those xianxa fantasy dramas where the plot is about the leads falling in love or meeting/interacting each other in their three lives). Tencent made one where it's a mesh up of xk and 7's previous modern and period dramas.
