So I think what they were going for with Taishin's character was basically a really naive country bum... but omg I for real was seriously wondering for like 4 episodes if he has some sort of brain damage, like no ill intentions writing this, I mean REALLY if the character is actually disabled in some way and that's why he is speaking so slow and asking the weirdest questions, like he was an alien learning about humans. "Can a man like a man?" - like tf??? If he was like in middle school I could accept this ignorance, but university??? pfff bahaha what? I think the director is at fault here, the actor should have been guided to act more natural and human like, and try a different way to grasp the naive look. I feel bad for him and for his extremely good-looking partner, who definitely deserves more main roles in romantic dramas. I did enjoy the show a lot of times, but man was it a hard watch because of Taishin's character...
omg I'm at episode 4 and it hurts to watch. the second hand embarrassment is hurting me, I have to skip a lot to survive, what is this drama, it has like no real story or character introduction so far, the comedy is cringe, like I'm really lost why it has so many positive comments and ratings?? are we watching the same thing?? will try to push forward but I'm really close to dropping it.
btw the few recoms for this are off, but I'd love to see more edgy BLs/straight romance if someone could recommend some? with some blood and mental health issues. thanks <3
my fav BL! I also love the sports theme! I'd love it if more BLs had some stories going on like that, something to keep the characters occupied and put them into various situations and not just having lazy soft porn scenes like so many do... (not this one!!) would be an absolute 10 if it didn't have the second couple's trash acting and writing. shame. also can we get more guys with glasses in dramas please??
I recommend My Only %12, it’s the best friends to lovers i’ve ever seen and will forever be my favorite! It’s…
no worries! I think some japanese bl are actually very chill and deep, but yeah some are a bit over the top haha, I prefer both! I hope you'll like it!
If you have unprotected sex, DO expect to get pregnant. You can get tablets you can take in a 48 or 72 hour period after the act to stop pregnancy, it's not that hard to get, just gotta ask a gynecologist to prescribe it and they'll do it, you take it and that's it. If you are too late and you do not want the baby or you are absolutely not in any situation to have one (financially/emotionally/healthwise etc) you ARE allowed to get an abortion, a baby takes a loooong time to actually develop consciousness, aborting it as soon as possible is the right choice. But if you are too late for that as well, you can still give birth and put the baby up for Adoption, just search online and you'll find multiple local organisations who are ready to help you without shaming you, really. Babies get adopted very easily as there are so many couples on the lookout for them who are ready to adopt, these people are usually more prepared and loving as well than most of the everyday parents, so the baby will probably end up in a very loving family.
So yeah, no shame in not wanting kids, accidents can happen and you are NOT forced to become a parent. Believe me, you have so many choices, but that baby does NOT, a lot of them are born into families that don't want them or are not prepared for them and it can be an extremely toxic outcome for everyone involved.
(Sorry, I just had to write this as I don't like it when topics like this play the heart strings in movies. Don't be afraid to be responsible!)
I come back to watch all these dramas occasionally because its so hard to find anything similar now. So this,…
hey super random sorry I just love this kinda stuff too for some reason, checked out your list and I couldn't find The Painter of the Wind, maybe you'll like that too!
