I started this drama because of a scene that I saw from Lazy Subber's FB page. This drama started quite slowly at first but after the 1st episode, it picked up quickly and became more interesting. The characters especially Kate, make you sympathize with them even after you've watched them commit all sorts of atrocious acts. The ending was alright but the actions of the officer were slightly off but it's a drama, they have to end it rather dramatically. It was worth the time I spent watching it.

When the trailers for this came out last year I was so excited to watch it but now we are here and are disappointed with the story. The first part of the story was good but confusing in terms of the behavior of the students towards Dew even though some of the students were gay. Also, I don't know if some things were lost in translation because I thought the training camp was to "reeducate" the gay students and "turn" them straight and not a military like Phob's dad called it. Another annoying thing was that the story and some things that happened were just too convenient and I think some parts of the story were not effectively resolved (his wife). Furthermore, Dew's death was a stupid plot addition. Were they trying to say that a car will hit someone, stop, and then continue on to kill them? Seriously?
In addition, it was quite disconcerting to see adult Phob with a 10th grader (16 years?). Lastly, was the ending just for shock value or to highlight that the "relationship" was doomed from the start or to finally rest in peace together as Phob probably wished he did.

I started this movie because it seemed to be an interesting movie and wanted to see how it would all end. However, I was not prepared for the disappointing story, The attitude of the villagers, in the beginning, made no sense to me. Were they really that fearful of strangers. That was one of the odd things. The second odd thing was their reason for betraying the MC. I felt it was just an extremely lousy, stupid, selfish reason. They could have just set him on his way. The story was inconsistent at that part because the village head himself told his son that people do not remember good deeds just bad ones. He knew and believed this statement but went ahead and committed the atrocities he did? That is just a plain stupid character. Then, the fate of his son was just unexpected and I think it was just thrown in for shock value because, at that point in the movie, I was already angry at the foolishness of the villagers that I was not even saddened by what happened to Young Nam. The third odd thing was the world-building. It was not done well because I do not understand how the parents and the children could have slept separately. The good things about the movie are the acting and the tragic ending of the villagers. Very disappointed.
