Shen is becoming a babysitter to his newly created vampire. I'm finding the him pretty tedious now. Only Miss Jin is still likable in her devotion to that damaged Ying Liang. She also manages to wear the most bizarre outfits and she obviously likes it rough.

It the last two episodes Shen has turned into a bad a** and his little creation is busy imitating him.
The only persons worth liking now are the stylish Miss Jin and the little 'doctor' who keeps trying to get her attention and taunting Shen about not admitting he is smitten with the candy handing on this arm.

Miss Wu's shadow warriors and a heap of scrap. She'still worried about her 30th birthday. Shen has selflessly given the amber amulet to Mi Lan and is looking very pale these days. How much longer has he got? Li is a puddle of confusion and Situ is courting Miss Jin and being flighty toward Shen.

Merciless Mu. She doesn't care if any of her soldiers get killed. Do those mechanical robot even have humans inside? They grunt so there must be some organic material there.
What an idiotic fight between the brothers/friends. Not believable and makes no sense. Probable just done to make a mess all over town. Seems big bro is no match in this battle. Mi Lan is the only sane person here and she's unconscious.

The FL has energy and humor. The ML is cute but unwilling. His glowing fingertip pointing can get a little much to bear.

It looks like censorship has sucked a lot of the vampire out ot Shen. Mi Lan is my favorite character so I hope that despite their hute age gap they will be allowed 'to get it on'.

What's with ep 10, I thought that Mrs. Mu needs him alive to give her a chance to avoid dying before age 30? But instead they throw machine guns and everything but the kitchen sink at him. He already barely survived this the last time. What make him think he can do it again? The screenplay I guess, even though it's a little hard to phathom. Ok, he survived and now he's got a muzzle and an electric shock dog collar on and still he grieves at having shed blood. He didn't even lick his lips.

Hilarious to see Shen squeezed into a too short bathtub full of ice cubes. No wonder he was glad she was blind and couldn't see this scene.

I'm starting episode 6 and it's been snowing for days withouth stopping but by some miracle there is not a snowbank to be seen. Mi Lan is learning to be savy and independent. Her Dutch neck ruff that harkens back to the 16th century is a nice touch. The;y encouraged an upright posture and were a symbol of wealth and stature. Shen's costumes are also sumptious. The leather-clad bullies are just boring.

I guess it went right past me. Enlighten me.

I've finished and Season 2 is just as good as S1 and, in fact, is more intense. The whole XL episodes are Oscar-worthy in themselves. Clearly, he loved her to distraction and she was able to hold more than one person in her heart. Which brings us to Cang Xuan. He became more tolerable to me as he realized his responsibilites and became less of a stalker and more of a brotherly type. Jing's arc was mostly to be the reliable person for everyone and the devoted lover of Xiao Yao. He extended his hand and smile to her at all times and I'm ecstatic that they ended up travelling forward together in life. XY was a delight in all her character's permutations. I will always look for this actor's work. The other oustanding charcters for me were grandfather, A Nian, Feng Long and his sister, although in her case her bad character was only offset by her good acting. Thanks to everyone involved.

Thank you. I will continue to watch because I'm just about done with Lost You Forever S2 and there's not much new in the historical Cdrama world right now. Oh yeah, there is S2 of Strange Tales.

Ok, I made a mistake I meant to say this actor was in My Journey to You where he was the strong, silent type with a lot of sexy mystery to his character. I guess I'll find out later why he doesn't have a nose here.
I'm still no closer to finding out why birds in cages in Cdramas always get poked with sticks? And when or how that little shape-shifter has become so independently wealthy?

Bloody Hell. Choosing to die with Cang Xuan by eating poisoned poinciana flowers is a betrayal of Jing. After stabbing the confessed murderer and hyperventilating from grief how can she tolerate taking part in such a ceremonial pact. I see, she only did herself in and left him alive. Turns out it was all a fever dream and they will go through all these harrowing emotions again.

I have questions. What's with mostly sleazy characters alway poking away at birds in cages with a stick? Where did Nan Ying get all those silver and gold nuggets she's spreading around? Isn't Shang the actor who was in 'Follow Your Heart'? Will he be as sexy a character as he was in that drama? Is he wearing a mask to make himself as mysterious? Will I keep watching this when a new drama is released?
