So idk how true this is, I just saw it everywhere on C media, so I'm just here to share:
- Apparently LitC is airing end of July, but take it with a grain of salt, the post production time is so short, and compared to other dramas being aired around the same time, LitC isn't getting much advertisement by the various streanming platforms.
- Ppl are saying that Xiao Yao are going to be aired during the 暑假, many new reuters are also being posted so many people are questioning/saying that it could be airing soon, however they can just be from a while back, so also take it with a grain of salt.
- Yu Zheng wanted for Glory to air around the Spring Festival next year (Around February). Many are saying it's going to be aired somewhere in January next year, some going as far as saying 1st of Jan, but with all rumours, take it with a grain of salt.
I'm so proud of who he is as a person, and I'm glad that all the hard work he has put in the last couple of years are finally beginning to take off.
I really respect celebrities who came from middle class families and got to where they are today with their own hard work.
I'm not saying that the celebrities who are born rich are untalented or didn't work hard or anything, but it is..... sketchy when you see a celebrity who debuted in a popular drama as a lead supporting role with famous co-stars and a large production team/budget.
Obviously a lot of those actors also worked really hard to be where they are today, but **AND NO HATE** it is easier and boosts your career when you debut alongside many famous co-stars with a well known director, production team, good storyline...yk??
And then there's the "overnight sensations" who blew up because of 1 drama, not necessarily because of their acting but many because of their characters or visuals. Like obviously if you're good looking, you're good looking, but a lot of these celebrities have really huge fan bases, leading them to get lead roles in some of the most popular dramas.....but then they can't act.
I'm not saying Neo's perfect or anything, he also started out inexperienced and some of his acting/emotions in his earlier dramas seem forced, but what I'm saying is that he improved it quickly, which really shows his dedication to what he does.
He started with really small dramas, and didn't gain much recognition for quite some time, but he never gave up and kept working, which I think is something really admirable.
He got to where he is today without starting out as an "industry favourite", and he's just genuinely a nice person, which in my opinion is one of the most important things in a person.
DHTRS6 bring a lot of pain for him, the company and studio didn't protecting him meanwhile the agent liked all…
I agree, like I want him to do something that is already pre planned out without him having to worry much, even something simple like him just doing his favourite hobbies, a "day in my life" or with his parents. Idk, I haven't really watched Running Man, but my friend says it's really chill, and the actors seem genuinely bonding and happy to be there, so I hope that he can get to experience something like that.
I hope that after Neo finishes filming Que Gu (correct me if I'm wrong cus Idk if it's confirmed), he'd have more…
I feel like it's in a 综艺 where you really find out what a person's really like and what type of family they came from/how they were raised. Like sure, you're one of the best actors blah blah blah, but you can't really hide your inner self from everything, especially in a situation like this. Like sure, some things are scripted, and you do acting to pay your bills, but there's just some things you can't mask, especially when in a 综艺, because some things are just bound to slip out, especially because of the amount of time it takes to film everything, and actors are also placed in a large group where they must cooperate, compete, or live together with others while not being able to control how others interact with or talk about them. Cameras are always there when they might not be paying attention, so slip ups can happen, and the pressure and exhaustion can make it extremely hard to keep pretending. Also, let's not forget the fans.... seriously some of these people are crazy, I'm pretty sure I've came across 5 videos already of people just analyzing everything, from body language to the tiniest facial expressions to figure out what the actors are like irl. (these ppl scare me 😭)
what comment is it? Not related, but we have some cultural differences between China some Asia countries and western.…
I don't think he meant it literally, rather I think that he meant it as a figurative way. Also in Chinese, there's no real way to say the word "tanned", people just say "black", but they mean tanned, so I don't think it to be racist.
I think he was just trying to say "I got really tanned" or smth in a "figurative" way.
Also in China, calling someone "black"means calling them tanned, which isn't a racist thing, just like in America or smth, calling people tanned is just....... idk calling them tanned, which isn't bad or anything.
Chinese people like having very pale/porcelien skin, which is why many celerities would say stuff about them being really tanned, like that one time Cheng Xiao had to remove her makeup in front of everyone as a punishment for losing a game or smth, she commented “完了,贼黑", which could be really racist when directly translated, but since "黑" basically means tanned in Chinese, she was really just trying to comment on how tanned she has gotten.
But it's not just with celebrities, this kind of thing it just really common everywhere in China, like my family and friends say it to me as well, but it's not racist or anything (at least I don't find it to be 🤷🏻♀️).
Idk if my explaining makes sense, I repeated a lot of my points 😭, hope it helps tho <333
I hope that after Neo finishes filming Que Gu (correct me if I'm wrong cus Idk if it's confirmed), he'd have more time to rest and maybe even go on another tv show like Running Man as a regular member (he was there in season 11 as a guest, but I really want him to be a permanent member 😭). My friend watches it a lot and she says that it's very lighthearted and entertaining, nothing like DHTR. I would also love to see him interact with other celebrities like Bai Lu, Song Yuqi, Zhou Shen.... I also love his personality, and would love to see him outside of his dramas, as we always see him portraying someone else to the point that many of his fans don't even know/remember the real him, which is so sad, because in my opinion he's like one of the nicest celebrities 😭. I really wish that he'd join a nice, relaxed 综艺, and that people would know and love the real him, not just his roles.
Also, GIVE HIM MORE SONGS!!!!! Even if it's an ost for another drama that's not his, idc, I just need to hear his voice again!!!!!
I think we're just gonna get all three of his dramas in 1 go. Rumor has it that Xiao Yao will be airing from November…
This will be an insane drama marathon if this does happen, and I expect Neo to gain a lot of popularity and recognition from this, but at the same time it would be nice if it was spaced out evenly so we always have new material, and people will always talk and know about him yk??
I think we're just gonna get all three of his dramas in 1 go. Rumor has it that Xiao Yao will be airing from November to December, Love in the Clouds will be aired early next year or around same time as Xiao Yao late this year, and the production team for Glory aims for it to be aired around the Spring Festival which is around February <3333
The thing with me is like as soon as I become a fan of one actor, it's just not possible for me to do the same for another actor. Like, I don't hate on others or anything and I still watch other actor's dramas, and I'm still a "fan"...? of them, but it'll just never be the same as it is with Neo. And the thing is I acknowledge that there's a lot of really great actors out there with a lot of really good roles/dramas (eg. Cheng Yi and Luo Yunxi, I think these two are really good at acting, and they have a lot of dramas that I'm looking forward to), but I'll just never like anyone else the same.
Idk, the summary of Que Gu doesn't really interest me that much, but maybe they'll change smth. I'm really really REALLY not into romance dramas, but seeing Neo as a general does intruige me (seriously, all these arts and edits people are making 😍), and I just can't wait to see all his fight scenes.
I really love Ai Mi, but she's just way too young for a role like this, besides, for a romance drama like this, people will expect a lot of romance (which if Ai Mi is the fl, there won't be much ----- I hope that there won't be cus her age...), which could cause a lot of backlash/critisism and bad reviews. 😭
Woahhh, this has such a big cast (I mean no wonder, there's like 9 guys fighting over fl, and fl has like 7 sisters 😭😭😭, plus all the different "arcs"). I was actually suprised that there weren't more vlogs from the background actors/actresses (many usually do that), so I thought that maybe the cast was smaller or that there aren't too many scenes involving other people, but it could be that the production team doesn't want too many stuff to be out/shown before the drama airs, since this drama is quite a big deal and includes many famous actors/actressess. I hope that they eventually release the vlogs after the drama airs, I really enjoy watching them 😭😭.
Uhmmm so does anyone if the 🍉 for the approximate release time is true?? C media seems very divided on it, and many are saying it's only going to be released either end of this year or next year 😭😭
So apparently this will be released in the Summer...??? (I'm guessing according to China seasons), which was not according to plan, but I'm fine with it, I'm really excited for this story and to see Ji Bozai, and honestly anything will do at this point, I just need to see Neo on the big screen again!!!!!!!!!
Only he can answer it correctly. But I can guess based on his meet-up+interactions with others in the past few…
Oh! I didn't know he was friends with Huang Minghao and Wang Hedi! I believe (and this is also based on interactions/meet ups) he's probably closest with Cheng Yi, since they've basically known and been friends with each other forever, and they interact pretty often. I know he has a "motorbike group" in Heng Dian, though I'm not sure who's in it, but he talks about it pretty frequently during interviews, so he seems pretty close with whoever's in it. He also seems pretty close with: He Yu, Rong Yao, Wu Yanshu.
