imo I feel it’s an internal relatability for now. It’s a case of I don’t know why but get you and wanna…
yes! i love when a show/book “works” me tbh🤣🩷 it’s really about hearing all that is implied but not said out loud, and reading in between the lines! i really loved “can this love be translated” for that reason! and now this little gem…. great times ahead as dong man and eun a keep on learning new things about the other🌬️

I've been thinking about this since yesterday, but I feel like this show and this theme is almost like an extension of Youn Jung's drama "Can This Love Be Translated," in the sense that Eun A learns to understand Dong Man's language and way of expressing himself - she sees him for who he really is. I also think that they're kindred spirits; both are outsiders in their circles who view them as "weird" and borderline annoying, so I feel like that's another common point. Eun A lets Dong Man speak his mind without judgment and listens and sees him, and this freedom to express himself without being met with contempt and any airs of superiotity is what eases him.
ngl at first i thought he took valuables to sell for some quick cash for whatever reason, but it clicked after 2 seconds and then i was sad😭 dong man actually cares SO much
Bully Choi Hyo Jin strikes again🤦🏻♀️ picks up a fight with Eun A, knowing full well that Eun A WILL talk back only to act butthurt. Truly just a mean girl... Hyon Jin girl you're too old to be acting like that
Just thinking about the college flashback again and how they had all these very mature looking adults play college students… is budget tight, couldn’t they find some 20yo even if it’s for a small scene🤣😭
Not done with today's episode yet, but Choi Hyo Jin so far is *that* girl who peaked in high school and stayed mean. Even IF Eun A was actually annoyed at her, god forbid a woman breathes damn
what kind of role is wu mian going to play? because her character in "the rise of ning" was awesome, but her role in "the sword and the brocade" was infuriating😭
i haven't watched an on-going kdrama in so long, i'm not used to waiting a week for new episodes, i was a bit sad yesterday after finishing ep2🤣🤣 i'm too used to the cdrama schedule lmao.
but i'm glad this show is a weekly release; this is something you have to take in slowly - one episode at a time to really let everything sink in, and i like that!
