oh please😀 her skin was absolutely fine, maybe one little pimple here and there. his was a little more textured, that’s true, maybe he had acne when he was younger. but everyone’s skin is just normal human skin.

the thing is i do acknowledge that they foreshadowed this storyline, but it still didn't intrigue me as much. the reunion inn and painting arc were my favorites tbh!

no, not really, the focus is on the leads. her maid and his side-kick have some banter, but it's not romantic
edit: my bad, yes there is a secondary couple lmao! between xuan yan and fan shuai qi's characters!

i mean if you want a happy end, you can watch him in "forever and ever". it's the sequel to "one and only" (SE, but i do recommend (and i also recommend watching o&o before f&e tbh...)). you can sort of watch it independently and have your happy ending. it's slow burn though :)

just a minor role, she's a dancer and at first sort of connected to the mirror demon arc through ji li (also a dancer). chen fang tong's character later makes short appearances as the female lead's friend :)
