The explanation comes towards the end and Yes Ye Hua is the lotus flower
… the end of the show😧 i need to wait that long… will anyone comment on that earlier because even now now one bats an eye at him looking like the god of war😧
Agree with you wholeheartedly on this, Up until this point, the majority of the focus/pov has been about Hyunwoo…
hyun woo’s mom is treating her like she’s a baby, and it’s exactly what she needs🥹 girly hasn’t received motherly affection since she was like 9 years old🥲
no, it's mentioned several times after that that they are divorced :) Hae In even puts Eun Seong in his place that he doesn't have a chance even though she's single now

One thing that annoys me is that ppl always want a complex, tough and cool female lead instead of a doormat, and then shit on Hae In for being such a terrible wife to our baby boy Hyun Woo🥹👉🏻👈🏻 (as if he wasn't a grown man who should be able to advocate for himself) or Gil Chae (My Dearest, I will always find a way to bring up MD lmao). Ofc, it's easy to shit on Hae In instead of trying to understand her. This is why I hope we get to see more of her perspective, it's time for herstory, not history 😭🤭

I really hope we get to see more of her POV in the second half because otherwise it'll be wasted potential. I don't need to see her spoiled family being dumb, I need to see her get treatment, need to see her and Hyun Woo's married life /their October baby - what happened? Like, yes, we still have 7 episodes to go, but her not being the focus when she's one of the main leads is so annyoing, ESPECIALLY since KJW is such a good actress. Despite her cold demeanor, she manages to make me sympathize with her character. I have such a hard time doing that with Hyun Woo tbh😔🌸
Right tvn page is full of complaint and am scared of tmrws ep 🥲
she waited until hae in didn’t have power anymore to talk nasty to her lmao. before, she wouldn’t dare🤠 can’t wait for the loser to get her karma. also, why does the actress play nasty unhinged characters so well?? she was also that crazy lady in squid games and the nasty live-in tutor in twinkling watermelon😭

no because my girl is terminally ill we need to hurry it up okay!! we also don’t know any more about their baby?? we need more hae in and less grace and mindless dialogue that isn’t funny, we need PLOT!! i’m anticipating the new epiosde but the writer needs to give us some good development because i can’t take it anymore😝😭
i need more hae in this episode, my girl is sidelined in her own show and it’s starting to annoy me… our main couple also needs a lot more development.. 10 episodes in and they still can’t communicate, it’s annoying. they need more time together🤨🫸🏼

i don't make anything up lmao. he talks behind her back all the time in the beginning, his friend belittles him when he says he's in Germany with hae in. even at the end of episode 8, he didn't have the balls to interrupt his family talking shit about her and her family.
she wasn't "holding on to her ego", there is literally a scene afterwards that shows how she forbids herself to cry because she "doesn't deserve it". she is incredibly hard on herself. she grew up in a toxic, non-loving household, whereas hyun woo had siblings and his parents. it's clear how they have two different families. they BOTH have terrible communication skills.
you make me sound like i only defend her when i also talked about hyun woo suffering in their marriage. also, idagf about black comedy lmao what is that supposed to prove in this discussion.
anyway, ep.9 comes out soon, let's see if we see some development from BOTH leads ^^

respect? his initial reaction to her diagnosis was happiness. he talked crap about her whenever he could. he basically gave up after the miscarriage; she was a little mean to him after SHE physically lost their babye (as far as we can assume), and the first thing he does is move out of their bedroom. instead of helping her and grieving WITH her, he just left. while i agree that hae in is not a good spouse either because she lacks communication skills, let’s not act like hyun woo is a perfect husband, please!
i liked the entrance with his past works' references, but the cursing bit was... no. anyway, you always gotta be careful with opinions, ngl i was sweating when i posted it😭🤪
