If I remember correctly, the previous king was dowager's adopted son.
I was just thinking about it again and wondered if the brothers only shared the same father but not the same mother.... so the queen dowager is only Lee In's mother, but not Lee Sun's... that would explain the animosity.... thank you so much!
i won't lie, i don't quite understand why the dowager is beefing with her grandson tbh, like why does she not want him on the throne lmao?? why is she against a - what? - 10 yo?? wasn't the former king also her son? why is/was she against him... other than that, the series has pulled me in the last couple of days... i'm already on ep13, so i'll probably finish it with everyone else on sunday ^^ it's mainly the leads (esp the male lead) and their tension that makes the series worthwhile, because the conflict itself is kinda eh unless i missed something lol
i'm still in the middle of episode 4, but does it pick up? because i cannot stand these plotting old geezers for the life of me, they drag the show for me😭🫣
bro, this is ridiculous.. him just standing in the rain, while she's changing her shirt in the car... like just get in -- you're adults, not teenagers.... *sigh*
the male lead always standing outside and timing her routine from going inside to the time it takes her to shower and then going to bed is so weird ... bro just go home pls
a big disappointment to it's prequel, I'm 12 episodes in and I don't like what I am watching. This is drama created…
I'm so sad to admit that I agree with you. I finished O&O, and immediately started this one, but I had a hard time and put it on-hold for a month. I'm giving it another chance today.
I felt like their interactions are so wooden and stiff, I don't like the script for this one at all. I'm on episode 9 and I remember not really liking their chemistry... I also think them being so physically restrictive is ridiculous in modern dramas lol. In ancient / historical dramas I get it but here... meh. I also don't like how the female lead sometimes just says "mh" as an answers, that just stops the flow of the conversation... I'm waiting for the moment they both warm up more and we can see them get more comfortable but so far it doesn't hold up to O&O :(
jiwon wasn't even trying in the slightest to hide the security cameras in her apartment, how did scumin not see…
they literally had a heart to heart. also, jiwon was unconscious on the floor for a while lol, sumin had enough time to check if there wasn't sth off🤣🤣 her delusion made her too confident
It was whole point of the show though. All three of them were very convinced they are in “right” and only…
i think that was the only time her face actually moved... i didn't like BoA in this lol. couldn't take her seriously when grandpa told her to leave, she looked disgusted, but the face she made just looked ridiculous
