I will never understand people saying a Chinese drama is a drag during the 1st phase of the storyline (ep 1 -…
Had I had that same judgement for Love Like The Galaxy, I would have missed out on my all time favorite c-drama (because IMO it didn't pick up until around Ep 12. Until then, I was bored to death). SO glad I didn't drop it prematurely. Plus, those initially "draggy" episodes ended up being the foundation that made me care so deeply for the characters plight later on.
ok, I LOVE them. For anyone worried about the FL, DON'T. She's hysterical and her facial expressions are on point. They have great chemistry. Yes yes yes. New obsession, YAY
It's not a good drama? I have it on my list but I haven't watched yet
I *LOVED* Bulgasal. Literally couldn't stop watching it, and the OST is gorgeous (listened to it on repeat for weeks). Definitely give it a shot, and don't let 1 comment dishearten you.
the rating is fking killing me. deadass might end up being the most underrated drama this year
I've learned that I need to avoid MDL comments and reviews until after I've judged it for myself because there have been so many gems that were absolutely brutalized by MDL that I would have missed out on had I listened (same goes for some shows that are rated WAY too highly for what they're actually worth).
im loving this season. I'm enjoying it way more than season 1, and I think the chemistry with the FL and ML is more natural and believable (their BTS is adorable too!). I just worry we're running out of time to flesh out the remainder of the season. We're already on ep 6! come on now. get those memories! let him figure it out so we can move on from that plot point! I'm just..nervous they'll have it all rushed at the last 2 episodes with another tragic ending. They deserve happiness.
He was the male lead in Seasons of Blossom (which was really great, but sad).
He is dead, but the majority of the story is told as a flashback so you're able to see him alive and before he passes away. It ultimately aligns to present time though, so the last couple of episodes he's not in it (excluding as a memory or mentioned by the FL). It's a heavy show. I really loved it though (he's an incredible actor).
Broooo, we really need Seo Ji Hoon as a Main Lead T_T I think the last time I watch him as a Main Lead was drama…
but, also, yes! he needs to be ML in more dramas. I think he'll get more opportunities after Revenge of Others. His character in particular, was well liked and viral on tiktok/youtube shorts.
The cinematographic nuance of this show cannot be understated. Throughout these flashbacks, everyone looks the same. 8 years have passed, and the hairstyles, clothing, and setting haven't changed; However, the shifts within each character are massive. The subtleties of their growth and the relative stagnation around them lend to the seismic shift and absolute devastation Sou is going through with the loss of something essential to his being. I'm really in awe of this drama. My only issue is the lack of attention toward Sou's character story, as others have mentioned. I'm glad he's getting more attention now.
Honestly when i asked everyone if it was worth watching, most of them said it was the best korean BL. I accept…
Agreed. Acting was subpar (although I thought Yoo Seok (Shinwoo) did a good job), the plot was cliche and slow to move, and the chemistry was too stiff (again, I thought the actor who played Shinwoo was the only exception).
lmao same. but it's better this way imo. it'll be more meaningful if sou speak to her because he want it rather…
i agree! i definitely think its coming. It carries so much meaning for them both. When he's emotionally ready for it, on his own, I think he'll speak for her.
