He oozes charisma and is a very strong actor, I'm surprised he's not in more hit dramas. I also wish he had the lead role more often. Nothing should stop him, aside from maybe a bad manager and bad scripts. I've never found fault in his acting, regardless of how bad the drama he's appearing in is.

The OST is gorgeous. I've been listening nonstop to The Other Side - Jing Long & Jing Di. This drama was unbelievably well done. I haven't been this awe-struck by a production in a very long time.

Great review! Agreed with most commentary. I loved the BGM played throughout LLTG. Especially the ones typically played during our CP moments (the melancholic violin being my favorite, but I also love CSS' flute number).

Agreed 100%. Especially as we watch HBY unravel throughout the drama, and his body language change and loosen up (first with CSS, then after his revenge is complete) - it completely convinces me that every perceived movement (stiff or otherwise) was entirely intentional on WL's part. He's a wonderfully gifted actor.

Yeah, I struggled with her a bit. Ironically, the ML bothered me more. I didn't like that, at times, his face didn't match the emotion in the dubbing, and the dubbing didn't match the emotion in the face. There's a lot to really like about the drama, so I might try again later when I'm not so freshly spoiled.

I hope all rumors about a director's cut (or more cleanly edited edition) being released are true. I feel like its likely part-wishful thinking, but maybe we'll luck out? The Director is known to be a perfectionist with his craft, so I'm hoping the feedback he's hearing comes into play.

His fight scenes are incredible. I did the same thing (rewatched his fight scenes in TLB). It's even more impressive in the BTS. His choreography and deftness w/his hands is really something to watch.

I'm being haunted everywhere. I tried to watch The Imperial Coroner, and they're both shot in the same locations!!! I'm seeing LBY's mansion, Empress's bedroom, and the long stone corridor. UGHHH. I can't escape my longing.

Body swap has only happened 2x. Each instance is funny, a way for them to get to know each other, and fairly short in duration (the 2nd time happened for about 2 episodes). No to your 2nd and 3rd question. The 2ML isn't annoying, he's pretty cool. The character development for everyone is stellar and worthwhile.

Agree 100%. The romance in LLTG was built one pain-staking step at a time, and it made me 100% invested in every single moment between them as they got closer together.

But also, i was already a fan of ZLS and WL prior to LLTG- I just hadn't seen them in heavier roles like this before. I hope they keep going with these heavy hitting roles. They're so young , I imagine its just a matter of time.

Exacccctly! No one can tell me ZLS and WL can't act after watching them in P2. My lord, they were fantastic. I think she's just outta her mind with her biases.

I don't think, even in the trailers, the show was depicted as a fluffy romance. The angst, war, revenge, and longing were shown even there. I went into it expecting a slow burn romance with a lot of family dynamics, long term plotting, etc, and it was pretty spot on

Hahah I don't think anything can compare to LLTG, but I adore LBFD. It's very different from LLTG, so that helps. I LOVEEE the CP for LBFD. So much chemistry. Their BTS is hysterical too, they're both such gremlins to each other with all their bickering.
