Dylan Wang as DFQC getting the 8 bone spike torture punishment was some of the sexiest, most convincing whump I've EVER seen. I rewatched those scenes way too many times. He makes a gorgeous anguished/pain face.

She doesnt keep it a secret anymore, but her credibility is completely dismissed so it doesnt even matter anymore. She goes back and forth between calling him her nephew and son, and LBY just rolls with it and everyone around them just does the pity stare

They switched clothes often. In this instance, the real LBY wanted to go out and play, so he switched clothes with the "fake" LBY in exchange for apricots. Huo Jun Hua saved the "fake" LBY's life when the massacre happened and passed him off as her son to save his life.

She never stops loving him. He never stops loving her. Throughout the 5 years of separation, he protects and watches over her from afar, even when she's engaged to YS. He helps YS' family to help YS/CSS have a solid political standing and be safe. When he returns, he can see that she still loves him (how she looks at him is different from how she looks at YS), and he decides to try his hardest to get her back. It takes her a long time, but his persistence and the discovery that he'd been watching over her and helping her and YS family despite knowing he wouldn't get her back helps break her walls down again. She also understands why he made his decisions despite how much it hurts her. Time helps in that pain and forgiveness. I'm thrilled they end up back together. They've both been through enough.

This is all from the original novel. Lou Ben's situation ties in with Peng Kun and this case is what helps lead the way for LBY to discover the truth behind Gu City. It's necessary, just frustrating since it takes away from our CP storyline. This is all in the novel. The only change is that it was QiQis father who was framed, not CSS' father. Lou Ben's wife also doesn't kill herself, but I'm not sure if that even happened in the drama, since LBY said her body wasn't found.

I saw on Kissh that its updated to show the episode selections to 56. This morning, it only showed preview boxes for tomorrows episodes. I wonder if someone is going to download them to Kissh. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
