It's funny how a lot of people say that she resembles Park Gyu Young. Because these two are actually really good friends and go to the same ballet studio π
The ending of ep 7 made us think that it must've been Myeong-ja who drank from the cup with the Najin. But later we see that she was purposely captured to bring to the hospital and they experimented on her. So I'm thinking, she didn't drink from the cup. She became a monster because they injected it into her before. I guess Taesang is the one who drank from the cup. That could explain how he could stay the same for the past 50 or so years! Then we have Chae-ok who got saved from the Najin worm from her mother... and lady Maeda who maybe also drank from the cup that Kato gave to her (which maybe contained the worm too).
So my guess for season 2 is that it'll be in the modern day setting and we'll have at least 4 monsters (Chae-ok, Taesang, Maeda and Myeong-ja's baby). Im really curious to see how the modern setting will change things! It will be a complete change of mood :O
This season felt like all over the place π The time skip in ep 4 confused me so much, I had to google to understand what went on lol Definitely not as good as season 1 but to me it also felt like a build-up to season 3... so I'm still looking forward to s3! Especially the ending was getting more interesting! (Also looking forward to more of THAT Hyunsu π)
Finished all currently available 7 ep and I personally found it very good!! There wasn't any boring episodes for me and the storyline flowed nicely. The acting was great too! Personally, I dont rly care about the romance between the leads; this is not a romcom drama afterall π But I like how they sprinkle some sparks between them here and there.
I must say tho, the only thing that rly bothered me was the Japanese pronunciation... I can understand Japanese and it's super noticeable that these actors do not know Japanese π₯² Supposedly Japanese characters had bad Japanese pronunciation but when they talk in Korean, it sounded perfect π Props to the actors for learning a whole script in Japanese but I wished they would've put more effort in making their Japanese sound convincing (like dubbing maybe?) Or at least when they talk in Korean, they should've pretended to have a Japanese accent or smth π A+ for the effort but the weird pronunciation distracted me so much and kinda dirsturbed my immersion π€§ I'm curious how others felt about this!
Isn't it because Guwon saved her with his demon powers that came back to him? I think it was right before the…
Yeah I was thinking maybe she wasn't completely dead then (just on the verge of dying) so he could heal her up without consequences π€ But I also hope they can explain what happened there, I want to know the details haha
im curious on why she got out of the fire without a single drop of blood on her skin
Isn't it because Guwon saved her with his demon powers that came back to him? I think it was right before the tango scene but when he healed himself, the blood also disappeared!
The cases were awesome. I'll take your word for the fact that they were realistic when it comes to legal practice.…
Yes, totally agree with you! I feel like a lot of law dramas have cases like murder and violence or maybe embezzlement from big corporations etc but this drama had a wide range of interesting and relevant cases βΊοΈ
Also, I might be one of the few people who think this, but I didn't find the cases boring π I work in the law sector so maybe my perception is a bit different. I've tried to watch other law dramas before but I always thought that the way the characters in other dramas solved cases were a bit exaggerated and dramatic π Ofc WYW also had cases that seem kinda exaggerated and unrealistic (like going to the village to introduce all the villagers?) but overall I think this drama shows a more realistic approach π€
For me I enjoyed this drama so much and it's one of my faves! Of course there are some parts that I also wasn't satisfied with but nothing is perfect haha A big part that helped in pushing this drama was the actors too! Especially Park Eunbin, she is just amazing!!
Personally, I think the ending was satisfying and wrapped things up! I would have loved to see more interactions between Youngwoo and her brother though π₯Ί I wished they had introduced him earlier to be able to develop his story more! The sudden change of attitude from Minwoo was strange, it would've been more natural if it happened earlier and gradually π€
Also, I was hoping to see that Myungseok would decide to leave Hanbada to open his own law firm and bringing Youngwoo with him haha
I saw news that a second season is basically confirmed for 2024? Tbh, I love this drama. It's one of my faves! But I still think that a 2nd season is not necessary π₯² Right now, it feels like they will have an open ending and push some things into the 2nd season (idk how they will address all the open issues all in the last episode)...
Anyways, I'm looking forward to Youngwoo and her half brother's interactions!
This episode was a whole emotional rollercoaster π I hope Myungseok is going to be fine!! π Also, normally…
Tbh, I think it's not that sudden or unrealistic that Suyeon seems to "suddenly" like Minwoo. I feel like she is a character who falls in love easily with anyone who is nice to her π₯Ί (She deserves better than Minwoo tho)

Other than that, I fully enjoyed the series!!
