Are the things Hee Do hold in her old childhood room or on her? Because it would make sense she would have it…
Absolutely agreed! I would love to see them both happy whoever they are with in the present!

that's not what happened at all tho????? they broke up for themselves so they can be the best versions of themselves…
This! Agreed! They needed to seperate in order to grow because they already supported each other enough to the point it just wasn’t reaching each other anymore and it was just dragging each other down!

If they had stayed together they both would have suffered because YiJin can’t be there for HeeDo emotionally or Physically because he is dedicated/passionate about his work. If he quits, HeeDo will be miserable and what is to say there won’t be any regrets? If he continues to work and stay with HeeDo he will continue to feel sorry and miserable knowing that HeeDo is suffering. He can’t confide in her with his problems because he does not want to bring her down in his misery and by doing that he is pushing her away which AGAIN is hurting HeeDo. If they stayed together whatever love they have for each other would be destroyed. They both knew that. They were both each other’s beautiful memory. Why ruin that when they can’t continue that. Instead of breaking up in a nasty manner, the writers actually gave us a amicable/beautiful and loving break up which in reality happens rarely.

I think the ending was really hard to watch the first time around. But the more I think about it I'm not mad at…
Are the things Hee Do hold in her old childhood room or on her? Because it would make sense she would have it in her old room as that is where she spent her youth and YiJin was part of that memory?

Knew the ending and they did a really great job executing it. Not mad at all! The writer and the directors did a beautiful job in portraying the idea of youth, friendship, first love and the heartbreaks and joy’s of their experience. I liked how the experience was different for each character! One of the best drama’s I have watched so far!

Min chae is 15 right now which means she was born in 2006 😫
Yes and Min Chae does point out that there hasn’t been any scandals regarding the two? Highly likely they kept their relationship quite tight lipped and also the birth of their child? Possible.

They're not endgame, guys. And I think that's okay, that's life and that's what this drama was trying to teach…
People are constantly changing. YES. This. Hee Do talks quite a bit about changing in the recent episodes and they both will grow and change and it would be for the better until they don’t need each other’s support as much.

My theory is - She is a divorcee or a widower nowAnd Yi Jin is still single And they both are going to get back…
That’s the wish! But most likely a divorcee because Hee Do did mention about Min Char’s dad being abroad in quarantine

Ok. Yeah. One thing is for sure though. They are not going to be together forever, they will break up. They both move on but considering they were practically each other’s FIRST LOVE they continue their love and support for each other even if they are.. well…not together. It’s the whole nothing lasts forever and somethings are meant to be kept as a beautiful memory thing. Just like how Hee Do was invested in the Full House comics, Min Chae must be invested in her mum’s first love story! I bet she will be confused as to why they didn’t end up together and ask older Hee Do about it and her mum would say something along the lines of that it was for the best and probably came to the point where they didn’t want to ruin their deep (rainbow) love for one another with their romantic love? I know it’s going to be a bittersweet ending. I know the writers will do a amazing job to make us understand and make the end of their relationship still beautiful. I don’t think their love was ever meant to be romantic, it’s much deeper than that. I bet they realise that once they start to notice that the romantic love is causing them more hurt than their rainbow love and in order the preserve that they will break up.

If I ever meet anyone like Oh Na Woo in real life I would freaking drop everything and move countries and probably get a restraining order. Such an irritating character.
