I've watched a lot of Chinese dramas, and believe me, the FL is actually fine in this one, I don't find anything inadequate about her.

The FL is indeed smart, strong, and fairly level-headed.
However, this drama is quite similar to Coroner's Diary, so it's natural for people to compare them, I don't see anything wrong with that.
Coroner's Diary had its strengths, and this drama has its own as well, but in the end, the main theme is the same: solving murder cases.

Personally, I really like this one too, mainly because here we don't know who the killer or killers are, unlike in Coroner's Diary, where in almost every case, you already knew or it was obvious who the murderer was.

I don't know where you see a childish FL, it's actually the opposite. She's a strong woman, capable of defending herself, and even though her father was killed and there’s a lot of evidence pointing to the ML, she still doubted that he was the murderer. Otherwise, she would’ve killed him right away without hesitation.

I'm on episode 9 right now and I still can't understand the 2nd ML's obsession with the ML.
It doesn't seem like he'd be happy if the ML died, but at the same time, it also doesn't seem like he truly wishes him well , it's like he wants to see him defeated.
The only thing I dislike about this drama so far is the poisoning of the ML. I don't like the fact that he can no longer use his martial skills at all.

I watched the first 3 episodes and I like what I've seen so far. It's similar to Coroner's Diary, except here it's not as obvious who the killer is. I like the ML's judgment skills, but I also like the 2ML.
I'm also glad that the FL is strong and skilled in martial arts.
I'm very curious to find out who Yesheng is, whether it's a single person or a group. From the profile, it seemed like it could be the ML, but it's definitely not. Either way, it's someone super skilled in martial arts. I haven’t yet had the chance to see the 2ML’s martial arts skills.

Not sure what to say about the romance, there is only one kiss at the end 😅 .
Now if you want romance you can watch some more dramas of the ML, he has one or two that are fire with the FL from "She is the Pheonix" 😅😅

I finished "How Dare You" today, but I can't say it was good as previously mentioned "Lingering in Mind" and "Please Come Into My Heart" 😅

This was a nice short drama with great chemistry between the leads.

If you like the chemistry between the two, then you can watch the other two dramas they did together.😅😅

It’s not bad for a short drama.
The chemistry between the ML and FL is amazing; I’d love for them to get a chance to act together in a full-length drama.
I’m aware they have other short dramas together, I’m currently watching those as well.
